can you make the mob as the as the default minecraft texture as i prefer it more? and the tools and bows to default as well but i little darker than the normal bright looking default tools. And the pumkin with the GPS look inside from the orginal is also attractive can you put that in too?
Yeah, I've been trying to think of how I'm going to do the moon phases. I messed around with them a bit, but they turned out pretty crappy.
EDIT: Decided to try again, and:
Download is updated in the first post...I also changed up the enchanting table and cauldron (Set it back to the original one I made) to match the recipes.
@RikTenKay, and other other GeruDoku fan updaters, if you want to use the moon phases textures I made, feel free, just credit me.
EDIT: Forgot to mention I re-added the Metroid Prime pumpkin overlay. :biggrin.gif:
- Improved the enchanting table (Added a small "drop" for the red cloth on it")
- Change Nether Brick to a red cobblestone rather than a red brick
- Touched up the cauldron, piston, and fishing rod bobber textures a tiny bit.
Updated download link is in the first post as usual.
Yes, it's just like animated water/lava. The HD Patcher automatically supports animated textures now for any terrain blocks, and I think items as well.
I'm terrible at mob skins, but I'll try to make some. Gonna try to do a new slime and mooshroom (Well, maybe just edit the one I made) as well.
Also, added a video to the first post of someone playing with this pack. And yes, I got permission to post it.
EDIT: Small update:
- New red/brown giant mushroom textures
- Replaced desert shrub with small cacti (Desert shrub still available on the terrain.png)
Love the updated version so far, Are you thinking of adding "Random Mobs" Support? :smile.gif:
Thanks! As for Random Mobs, I don't plan on it. I don't plan on adding any mod support really, as I don't use mods myself, and it's more work than I really want to do. I'd only do mod support if I used a certain mod, so sorry.
I think there's something wrong with bricks, gold blocks, pumpkins and tools... http://imgur.com/m8aTA
Don't know if it's just me I really like this texture pack and so want to use it ><
You must use the HD Patcher for any texture pack 32x and above.
there is no need for any more doku contiuations as long as SAGA CONTINUES exists.
Except this isn't a continuation of DokuCraft (Which is what DokuCraft: The Saga Continues is for). It's a continuation of GeruDoku, with some textures from Doku's RPG. All three are completely different packs. I've already stated my reasons in the first post, but clearly you didn't read it.
Hey sorry I haven't been keeping this thread active like I promised but I had lots of things on. I've got one request, could you change the cobble texture back to the original GeruDoku one please, I know it's small but I just absolutely love that texture. Almost more then the planks, dirt and water.
Thanks,
Modest.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
"Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic."
Sorry for the delay with the update guys! I didn't have much to change/add, so I completely forgot about it (Been busy with Skyrim and BF3. :tongue.gif:)
Anyway, I made some updates today:
- Tweaked iron bars a bit, making them look nicer, and fixing the top of them.
- New hatch design (More of a screen door type thing now)
- Tweaked the enderdragon egg texture (Gave it a blueish gradient on the outside)
- Replaced foliagecolor.png with grasscolor.png, as the old foliagecolor.png made some biomes look ugly with really dark trees and whatnot.
- Added the potion/splash potion effects to the particle textures
- Made the end crystal thing to match the GeruDoku textures.
- Made the cracked brick more like a scratched/beat up brick. Looks nicer, and tiles nicely.
- Replaced the small cacti with the dead shrub again. Wild Grass is finally being updated again, so the small cacti will be able to be used again.
- Changed up giant mushroom/mycelium textures again.
- Replaced glowstone with a lantern-styled block based off the hatch texture. Old glowstone is available near the bottom of terrain.png.
- Added a new cloud texture. Credit goes to InsaneLaughing for his cloud texture, as seen in DokuCraft: The Saga Continues (I have permission from him to use it for this).
- Switched up some textures from Dustyshouri's pack (A lot of his textures were in the original GeruDoku, and he allows people to use his textures as long as they credit him in their topic, and before the download link, which I've done). Check the first post to see what textures have changed, along with a full list of textures used from his pack.
- Added support for Better Swamps. Awesome mod that smooths out swamps, and allows you to change the color of the water and grass/foliage overlay. Gonna experiment with the colors some more, to try and give more of a "dead" and barren feeling to the swamps.
- Made the Minecraft logo on the title screen match the stone texture.
EDIT:
- Added support for the new custom colors feature in MCPatcher. Lily pads and pine needles don't have the green overlay anymore (So they look like they do in the terrain.png).
How do I put the GeruDoku pumpkin helmet texture into this one?
Thanks a lot :tongue.gif:

Curse PremiumThanks! And just so this post isn't pointless:
I've been thinking about doing some animated textures. Do you guys have any suggestions on what textures I should make animated versions of?

Curse PremiumThe cobblestone is from the original GeruDoku...
EDIT: It is also missing the hearts you get from breeding animals I think.
