Well, after a long delay (I've been working on my Zelda game a lot, see my sig for more info), I update for 1.9 pre-release 5. The only things missing are the brewing stand icon (Too lazy to do one), and the dragon texture. That's it AFAIK...

Update:

- Tweaked tall grass again
- Tweaked fern texture
- Re-did the title panorama images
- Changed the foliage/grass biome colors, original GeruDoku foliage/grass biome color .pngs in folder as alts.
- Added the enderdragon egg texture
- Changed the Glistering Melon texture (Removed the glow, since item textures don't support opacity) and Brewing Stand icon.

I've had this personal fan update of mine for a while (Since tombones stopped updating the original pack), but I decided to release it to the public back in August.

I feel I've put more effort into mine, and kept the style of GeruDoku/Doku's RPG pack more than the rest have, so people might like it more.

I didn't edit the server ping or experience bar yet, and I don't really have plans of doing so, but I might sometime in the future.

"Updated" for 1.0.0. I had made some minor changes since the last update, so I figured I'd upload it with 1.0.0 being out and all.

Thanks! And not to try to talk down to other GeruDoku pack creators, but I agree. That's the main reason I decided to post mine as well...Every other fan update either has unfitting textures, or scribbled, ugly, noise-whored textures with not a lot of effort put into them. I mean, quite a few textures are edits of other textures, but at least I'm making them look nice.

Thanks! And, do you mean DokuCraft, The Saga Continues? This and DokuCraft are completely different packs, although they all came together from Doku himself.

EDIT: Just saw your edit, and I've been thinking about it. I really like the shaded font from DokuCraft, The Saga Continues, so I might ask the creator of the font if I could use it. After all, these are both fan-update projects. :tongue.gif:

Yeah, they have similarities, seeing as they both originated from Doku. The way I think of it, is DokuCraft is more like an RPG (Both were intended to be themed like one), and GeruDoku is kind of like the default, but darker, and more like an RPG, with some TLoZ: Link to the Past mixed in (A lot of the textures have inspiration from it, like the grass, dirt, etc.).

Also, I'm not going to put up an adf.ly link as it's not exactly my original work...I'm just keeping the pack updated for those who want it. I had one up when I first made the topic, but realized it was wrong, and removed it a few months ago.

No, it doesn't. I replaced it with the default, but you can easily find it, or get it from the original GeruDoku.

@Melbert4: Tyken's pack is a GeruDoku spin off as well.
