Hey, can I just ask, how do you get the custom pressure plate textures working? My code is practically identical to the one you're using but somehow yours works and mine doesn't.
Thank you very much for continuing to update GeruDoku; I remember seeing this texture pack a very long time ago and thinking that it looked really awesome! Playing with this tp makes me nostalgic
The CTM for logs doesn't seem to work for me. I can see the colors, but the logs are still divided into 4 blocks with edges on each.
Anyone else having this problem?
Cause I can see the treesold.png in there. :S
Edit: I'm using the latest Minecraft version btw, snapshot 12w30c
I removed the CTM for logs. I felt that is just didn't look that good. I mean, the inner logs looked good, but the outside textures sucked, aside from the oak (Probably because I didn't make that one. :P). I'd rather have it look good, but not as fancy, than shitty with connected textures.

Can you tell me how to make them work again? I really want to see how it looks on something
Also, I renamed the sky files from renametosky2 to sky2 etc with notepad, but when I click Play Selected World my game crashes!
Updated the pack for 12w30d. The new sideways logs have individual inner ring textures as well, after doing some testing with metadata.
Also, I added a separate texture for buttons. They're based on the stone slab, and look really nice IMO.
@_Big_Boss_: I don't mean to sound rude, but I really can't bother with past features. I'm not sure why it crashed, and I'm not going and redoing the property files for you, no offense.
I know this isn't directly related to your texture pack;
But how did you get the logs to use alternate sprites for the rings?
I downloaded your pack and copied over the block 17 entries, but nothing changes in MC.

Well, you kind of have to make the textures...If you don't know what you're doing, I don't suggest messing with CTM stuff.
I already got a texture sheet made up and have changed the references in the .properties file to reference my sprite sheet and my own sprite locations.
- Made spruce planks a bit more pink to match the log.
- Made jungle planks more compact-looking, for a nice and more unique design.
- Added noise to the mesh in the trapdoor.
- Added placeholder texture for the upcoming command block (Texture is next to water in terrain.png)

Well, the wire mesh in the trapdoor texture was all just a single color, so I added a bit of noise to make it look a little nicer. It kept bugging me, cause I was making a treehouse on a survival server, and everytime I entered and exited my house, I'd notice it.
Also, I updated the CTM textures a bit:
- Added new random tall grass texture.
- Removed DokuCraft flowers (The more I looked at it, the more I felt they didn't really fit the style completely)
- Tweaked sand sprout texture (Random dead bush alt)
- Changed the frequency of random giant brown mushroom textures.
I got to say this is a great gerudoku. I always check these out because I loved the original pack, and I am never satisfied with a lot of the fan continuations. Congrats on making one that really keeps true to the spirit of it. I love it!

Thanks!
Also, I've made yet another update to the pack:
- New lava textures based off Doku's RPG.
- Added random dirt textures with tiny stones in them. Varies between 3 stones, 3 sets of 2 stones, 3 sets of 1 stone, and no stones (Default dirt texture). It looks pretty nice actually, and it's a nice change from just boring old dirt.
- Tweaked swamp colors yet again (This is what, the 4th time? ). Sort of a mix between dead and alive, with green colors, but darker tones. I've made the sky a bit more blue for it as well, but kept the fog the same. Updated screenshot of it in the opening post.
- Separate texture for the top/bottom of smooth sandstone.
- Separate texture for the sides of sandstone slabs.
- Tweaked jungle plank texture a bit more.
I'm thinking of doing some more random CTM textures, mainly for natural textures. I was thinking for stone, I could a few sections a bit brighter than the rest, like how I did with leaves.
In my opinion, the new lava looks bad, but it's better than the old.
I think you should improve it yourself.,
Yeah, I'll be improving it soon. The still animation needs the most work, and once I get that done, I'll just use it and make it flow for the flowing animation.
Just wanted to say that the new sky is incredible. Just spent a ton of time walking round admiring the great work you've done on it. Keep it up!
Thank SMP for that. He allowed me to use his star skybox from his texture pack. His pack is pretty awesome too, and I'd highly recommend it!
Also, I've made a minor update to the pack. Just changes the color for Extreme Hills biomes. Or rather, removes the coloring...It looks like GeruDokuRPG Classic does, but without the little flowers of course.
I've also added a distant cloud skybox from JohnSmith's texture pack (Credit given of course, along with the other stuff of his I used).
- Tweaked the gold bolts on powered rails
- Removed the green gem from doors
- Added some more hieroglyphics to the Chiseled Sandstone texture.
- "Removed" biome coloring from Extreme Hills biome. It looks as if you were using GeruDokuRPG Classic, so there's essentially no biome coloring for it, just the grass/leaf textures themselves.
- Added distant cloud skybox from JohnSmith's pack (Credit given in OP)
Also, here's a sneak peak of the special edition of the pack I have planned for the 1 year anniversary of GeruDokuRPG...
GeruDokuRPG Origins
What is GeruDokuRPG Origins?
GeruDokuRPG Origins is the next installment in the GeruDokuRPG series. It serves as a direct continuation of the original GeruDoku. Classic textures, from terrain textures, to item textures, to even biome coloring textures.
The only textures that aren't from the original GeruDoku are ones that weren't present when it was last updated. So basically, new blocks that were never officially supported by the pack, such as stone bricks, giant mushrooms, etc.
There aren't any fancy MCPatcher features, like skyboxes, connected textures, etc. Just pure GeruDoku.
But I thought you hated the old textures?
Well yes, I do, but I want to please the community, and the people who loved GeruDoku, but don't like some of the changes I've made to the core of it. I want to provide a proper, direct continuation of the texture pack. There are a lot of GeruDoku fan updates out there that claim to be direct continuations, and stick true to the original, when 99% of them actually don't (Making grass/leaves greyscale, making ugly textures for new blocks, etc.).
When will it be available?
GeruDokuRPG Origins will be available on August 9th, 2012; the one year anniversary of GeruDokuRPG. I wanted to do something special for it, and what better way than to release a new variant of the pack?
I don't know if this Texture Pack requires you to use the Custom Colours mod from MC Patcher or if this is normal but the Ice Plains biome has a dark green/brownish colour which doesn't really seem to fit to an icy biome.
Never mind, I got it.
Kan jag fa en kottbulle?
Keep up the great work!

Turns out my Optifine was slightly out of date (I was using C3, updated to C6 now.
<edit>
Any idea how to fix this?
