- Added vertical CTM for vines, reeds, and ladders.
- Added stone, sand, and sandstone biome coloring (Desert, swamp, and ice plains).
- Tweaked jungle leaves to match oak leaves better.
- Tweaked sky and fog coloring a bit.
- Removed random flowers by default. In the /ctm/ folder, there are files called renametoblahblahblah.properties that you can rename, and it'll use the random textures again.
Could you make connected textures for the stone slab?
Yeah, I was considering doing pillars for the double slab block like SMP is doing with SMP's Revival. I'll have to experiment with it and do pillar textures.
EDIT: Added the pillar CTM thing. It only works with half steps right now, as I don't want to have it for a block that you can't obtain without mods. Maybe if it gets added to the creative mode menu, but until then, it'll be for stone slabs only.
Also updated the sand biome coloring for sandstone slabs and stairs.
I don't now if it's just my computer, but for me the CTM of stone slabs, vines and sugercane don't work.
Opinion: I think that now sand biome coloring is too dark.
(Sorry for my english, english isn't my native language)
Make sure you're using the latest version of MCPatcher. If you're using OptiFine, it's probably because they haven't added the new vertical CTM option from MCPatcher.
Also, the sand biome coloring is fine to me. If you don't like it, open color.properties from the root of the texture pack ZIP file, and remove the line with sandcolor.png in it (Should be near the bottom).
I don't know if anyone cares, but I have tweaked the terrain a bit for anyone who likes it:
(If you can't see, it's the Lapiz Lazuli ore, Redstone ore, Sandstone textures, Glowstone, Soulsand, Jukebox and Mycelium.)
(Not all these textures are mine, just some alts that I found, but on some I have edited so you can't find them anywhere else. But I made nothing from the ground up.)
There was also a problem with the iron axe item, having some texture being cut off. Here's a fix:
- I used to have that Lapis Lazuli Ore texture in the pack before. I removed it because it was just a recolor of the Redstone Ore texture, and I wanted it to be different.
- Don't really like that Redstone Ore texture.
- The sandstone texture are kind of weird.
- I was never a fan of that glowstone texture (With the dark insides). I've been looking to replace the glowstone texture though. I found one that has jagged glowstone shards, but I need to tweak it a bit for it to tile properly.
- I like that soulsand, and I've seen it before. I've replaced the current soulsand with this one, as it's more default-esque, with the screaming faces.
- Don't like the jukebox that much. I've added it to altterrain.png, along with the edit of my old mycelium (I like that shade of purple more).
As for the iron axe fix, I've changed it, and it's in the pack now.
This whole little edit started with me not liking the Lapiz ore, so I found the alt. But when I saw that it was just a re-color of the Redstone ore, I simply found a nice alt for that too.
That isn't the same Glowstone with the dark sides that you've seen though, it's actually a bit brighter as I didn't like the one with the black sides either. You should try to see it ingame compared to the black sides one we both know of. Idk, I like it more.
As for the Sandstone textures, I wanted the "Smooth Sandstone" to have that little top part so it actually looked like a pillar, like the default, so I edited all of them to have them match properly with the same top part.
Anyways I hope I helped nonetheless.. Or put things is perspective
I really love this texture pack! And you, with the help of others, have made the best version I could find.
Edit: Also, I've noticed that the sugarcane item icon is not matching the actual sugarcane "block".
Edit 2: Does this look alright? I don't know, I think someone else could do a better job though.
I think it needs to be even darker than that :/
I have another suggestion xD lol. The sand and the sandstones have different colors, here's a fix if you don't feel like doing it:
(This is all with your current textures so don't worry, nothing else different than the sandstone colors)
I'll keep posting if I find more stuff xD
Edit: I also found these sugarcane item icon alts, and I think if you edited one of them like you did with the old one, it would look better: compared to the old one:
Right now it looks kind of messy :S
Sorry, I'm kind of a perfectionist xD
Edit 2: Now this one I'm proud of: scratch all that before, I would definitely use this!
The sandstone isn't that different from sand, and variety is always nice. Either way, they blend together nicely, so I won't change it.
As for the sugar cane, I've edited the first out of the two you posted. Didn't really like the second one, as the colors are kind of awkward, and the texture itself isn't that nice. Plus, the first matches the original more.
And yeah, I get OCD a lot when working on the pack. I've made so many quick edits that most users wouldn't even notice between uploads. I've probably tweaked the jungle leaves like 20 times, or the biome coloring.
I made a list of requests: random textures for rock, new breaking animation and animated diamond ore texture
Not really sure what I could do for random rock textures. As for a new breaking animation, I like the current one. An animated diamond ore texture would be kind of pointless IMO.
Anyways, I've updated the pack:
- New pine needles. Based on the old texture, but a lot nicer.
- Readded the old soulsand and glowstone.
- Readded the original mossy cobblestone. Even though the one I had tiled properly, it looked really weird.
- Tweaked taiga biome grass/foliage colors.
- New mycelium textures.
- Changed myceliumparticlecolor.png to match new mycelium
- Tweaked mushroom biome water color
- Added allitemsx.png for using the pack with versions of the game that have the old creative mode menu. Requires the latest version of MCPatcher to use it.
Also, check out my mods! Missing Biomes is supported by my texture pack as well (Different biome coloring for the rainforest and seasonal forest!).
what is it that changes the sand color so drastically in desert biomes? Is it in the foilagecolor.png?
And if so, how could I make it a bit brighter like it is in the terrain.png?
- Re-added the old mycelium textures. However, I left in the pink myceliumparticlecolor.png, cause it gives it a nice contract, and looks pretty cool IMO.
- Tweaked vertical CTM textures
- Tweaked nether brick texture
- Tweaked desert (Or savanna if you're using my mod) grass/foliage colors.
Also, I figured I should mention that I've been planning a special new version of the pack that I'll be releasing on the 1 year anniversary of the pack (August 9th).

Curse PremiumSorry about that. I posted a new demo of my Zelda fan game on Reddit, and I used Dropbox for the link. Big mistake. XD
But yeah, I'll make a temporary Mediafire link though:
