I've thought about it, and toyed around with some other animated textures in the past, but IDK. If I ever do anymore animated textures, it'll probably be glistening diamond/gold ore, and maybe a flickering light for the jack o' lantern.
I know they're the best, but why does everyone have to use JohnSmith's vines?
Who's everyone? I've had these in my pack since he added them to his, with proper permissions and credit of course. I prefer ivy over actual vines, but if you don't like it, there's a separate vine texture I did in altterrain.png that you can swap for JohnSmith's vine.
Also, I've decided to remove the custom lightmap. I couldn't get shadows to look good without either being too dark, or too light, and during rain, it made the terrain yellowish. I think it'd just be better with proper lighting than colored lighting.
I mean't to say it in a funny jokingly way but apparently you just took it seriously. So have fun with your remix of Geru Doku that has been done 100 times before cause I won't be using it so cheers... And no one is getting -pissy XD
And obviously you think that if you don't like something, no one else does either. >_> Thats just sad. And obviously EVERYBODY cares about you not using this pack and your opinion so we most avoid this pack like the plague...
Ah, see, I knew I wasn't the only one who thought of turning the jungle planks sideways and removing the trim!
Yeah, most texture packs seem to be doing vertical jungle planks. It's a pretty good idea, as it fits jungle logs pretty well, and it's a nice way to make them different. Like with pine planks, I did dark, nailed boards that tiled with each other, and then the birch planks are just a lighter variant with a different texture I found.

Mm-hm. Good job with that, looks nice. I actually did a little bit of work on SMP's pack, updating that to 1.2.4, turning the planks sideways, dyeing the wood and such. I mean, jungle logs are sideways, so the planks should be too.
I'm loving how much your updating it. It's turning out to be an even more amazing texture pack. Few suggestions though:
- Make grass move less. It gets a tad annoying since it's constantly moving...
- Change the NPC's, or have another download for it... I hate those Pigmen. XD
On that note I have a NPC pack I found that uses Random Mobs also... their much more human-like. Unfortunately I forgot were I found them from, but here a few pics and a ZIP download if you wanna mess with them. http://dl.dropbox.co...1/Villagers.zip
This is just a few... There's over 50+ different ones. A TON of farmers... no idea why but that's how It came? lol

Thanks. Often times I'll be playing, and notice something that I want to change, and then end up changing more than I intended.
For grass, I'm not changing the animation, but if you remove custom_terrain_39.png from the /anim/ folder in the zip file, the grass won't be animated anymore.
As for villagers, the pigmen aren't going anywhere. I hate the idea of human villagers in Minecraft, as I liked the feeling of being the only human in 'Minecraftia'.
your texture pack looks amazing, but what kind of biome is the third imige cuz i rlly love that spot
It's a plains biome, but it's one of my old worlds that had tall trees in them. Generated them using this one program called MC Map Deleter a year or so ago.
hey i've noticed that the texturepack doesn't seem to be loading the custom textures for the Battlegear mod at the moment. I noticed the texture files for this mod in the pack and i am wondering if anyone else has addressed this.
The Battlegear textures aren't complete. Either that, or the mod switched to Forge and whatnot. I don't keep track of mods I don't use, so if there's ever a problem (Like with Trees++, which I'll be update support for soon), just tell me.
I've replaced the vines with the jungle vines again, but I'm not sure if I want to leave them. What do you guys want in the default pack? The current jungle-y vines, or the ivy vine as shown in the screenshots on the front page? I think either way, I'll re-add the ivy back to GeruDokuRPG Classic, but you guys vote on what you want in the regular pack.
Also, got some pretty awesome screenshots of a village/forest I'm working on for an RPG world on my server with GeruDokuRPG Classic and the realistic shadow shaders mod.
And that's with the mod using the lowest possible settings! My laptop can barely handle it as it is. Can't wait to get a new desktop this summer.

There is Randomobs support. If you're using the MCPatcher or Optifine (Which you need to for the pack to display correctly), they have built-in Randomobs support. The Classic version, however, does not have it, as I wanted to have it be...Well...Classic-like, with no special features.
Also, added some more alt terrain textures into altterrain.png. Currently, there is an alternate of:
- Cobblestone/mossy cobblestone (More like stones than the default brick-like cobblestone)
- Sponge (Sort of a blue, runic decorative block)
- Bookshelf (More RPG like with a potion and stacked books)
- TNT (Bombs in a crate)
- Mycelium (More of a purple color, and kind of like a slimy coating rather than a grassy/stringy mycelium)
- Redstone lamp (Rune on a stone slab that glows when turned on).
- Vine (Leafy ivy texture)
Here are some screenshots of the new alts in action:
All of the alts in altterrain.png (Except for the mycelium and vine) were found here, so credit to whoever made them (It's not listed anywhere).

Curse PremiumYep. I updated support for it earlier today, since it doesn't use Forge anymore. Love the mod BTW, one of the few mods I actually use.
