Update: The Sun is being problematic, you can't use colors or anything with the sun; Minecraft automatically makes it all white-lookin'. :sad.gif:

You can't put color on it cuz its not on "TBG-Mode" - If you're using Photoshop. (Wich I am), Go to Image -> Mode -> RBG-Mode -> Then check. Then you'll be able to put colors on :biggrin.gif:

I think he means in game... Minecraft makes the texture all white.
Yeah minecraft brightens the sun texture right up during the day, at sun set it looks sexier
Dunno if making it more saturated or darker would help

Mirror, can I have a look at that sun texture? The actual file itself? I wanna mess with some things and see what I can get out of it. Minecraft brightens it up immensely, but if one darkens it enough... say, so dark it looks almost black normally, Minecraft's usual brightness should make it roughly normal. A little experimenting is all that's needed.
And, if it's too much trouble to get the texture right, we can always ask Notch to make the sun render like the moon.

I wish my hair was like yours. Mine is curly as all hell and wont stay down, I straighten it and it stays like that for about 3 hours. Dumb hair...
