I am the bone of my sword
Steel is my body, and fire is my blood
I have created over a thousand blades
Unknown to death, Nor known to life
Have withstood pain to create many weapons
Yet, those hands will never hold anything
So as I pray, Unlimited Blade Works
IMO,this is pretty ugly. All of the man-made blocks are all that shade of bluish-greyish-purplish-idontknowish color and the grass doesn't really look like grass at all.Put more varied color and stop making all the artificial blocks two or three-shaded patterned spiralling things that look like they belong in a simple pack.
Not sure if troll...or stupid?
If you've watched Soul Eater, you'd know why everything is so grim.
...Anyways keep up the good work, I was thinking of editing the textures so they're 32X32 :biggrin.gif:
My brother had an interesting idea... coal as kishin eggs. They are a source of fuel, no (For turning weapons into death scythes)?
As for the replica of the DWMA, let me give you some advice. Build bigger. Its like working with a larger sheet of paper, you can put more details in. Personally, since I saw you a building all of Death City in an earlier post, start at like 1 level above bedrock so that doesn't show, then lay the base... I think you get the idea?
Anyway I had one more idea, but I keep forgetting it...

But the pork is kishin eggs! D:
Thanks for the tip, I figured I should've made it bigger. It's turning out nicely though.
I reckon you should try make all the textures more cartoon-like, just like in Soul Eater :smile.gif: So like less pixels, and smoother looking...if you get what i mean? :tongue.gif:
What this man has here is a good idea. Not making the textures have less detail, in fact, sometimes trying to make a pack more 'cartoon-y' has more detail than gritty realistic packs themselves. Hear me out: If you decide to make a 32x32 variant, try to put in lots of gradients. The gradient allows a pack to look non-simple but still have nice lines to it. It becomes less of a minimalist pack but still has that nice look to it. I dunno, that's just my opinion.
Packs coming along quite well however. Nice work, Mirror!
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
This is where people normally put stuff about things nobody bothers reading.
I like to think of myself as a pretty alright guy.

I wish you luck with those red cones extending from the Skulls eyes that Black Star likes to break...
