OMG THIS IS SO AWESOME. Sorry about the caps... but it really is! I downloaded, and I have to say the wooden planks and chests are freaking amazing! Also the weapons are amazing... Is it possible to mod them in any way to make them super massive like in the anime? I sure hope there is... my complaints/suggestions? Right here:
1. Not so much of a complaint as a preference. I NEED this pack in HD. After playing on HD for so long, I the basic text and some other stuff really starts to bug you... If you guys don't do it, I'm going to have to start stealing your textures and making it so... ^^
2. Needs more Black*Star. It just does.
3. Needs more madness... I dunno if you guys follow the manga too, but if you guys do an Aether add on, definately needs to be the Kishin's realm...
4. Moon/sun animation. Is it possible to do so?
Anyway, this is an awesome pack so far! Heck, you guys might have just gone so far as to convince my friend to get Minecraft...

Maybe... Well they don't sell manga where I live (its sort of a taboo to be in a bookstore). I buy the manga when I can though... and by that I mean when my cousin who lives in different part of the state finds the money to get me some...
Anyway, there are more important things than how I get my manga!
I am a redstone fanatic, so I cannot wait to see what you cook up for those... I dunno if you have done something for those already... I dunno what default look like anymore... also, by looking at it, I know that default has animations on some item you dont have... maybe you can use that to make the rotating/animated sun/moon. You guys have also inspired me to make HD textures for this pack, so that I at the minimum can deal with the quality. Not that its bad, its just, weird for me... I hope you guys are okay with this? The textures will all be based off the ones you guys made though, so don't worry about it not being your work! I also won't give it to ANYONE unless you guys let me. It would be my first attempt, but I've done a lot of stuff with editing software (meaning paint.net and MSPaint and some others) I'll find a way for it to work, as I've made extremely detailed pictures using just that software before...
Legend says that work on this texture pack began in the 12th century...
The theme and intention of this texture pack makes me thankful that people like you exist. Soul Eater is divine epicness compressed into 24-minute segments. (Or depicted in monochromatic godliness) While I am not particularly a fan of themed texture packs, this one is masterfully crafted. (No pun intended) Too bad the sun cannot remain yellow... But the moon is, without objection, the highlight of this texture pack. But the sword scythe is marvelous as well. Please let me know when a 32x32 version is released.
However, there is a problem with the upside-down gun. It's not being duel-wielded! IT'S NOT SYMMETRICAL! D:

I'm pretty sure the moon/sun rotation thing would require coding, which I know nothing of! xD Maybe someone will release a mod, maybe Notch will even fix it. Thanks a lot for the post, really helps. :tongue.gif:

I made a custom break animation where it writes Shinigami's number on the block (42-42-564), personally I think it looks okay, however others may disagree @[email protected]

Played with the TP...Nice feel to it some of the blocks are going take a bit to get used to without having to stick my cursor over it since some of the blocks looks the same when in storage. A few possible changes would be:
---Zombies skinned to Stein or Sid?
---Pickaxes possible Chain Scythe (Like Black Stars main weapon)
---Medusa as Skeletons
Reasonings:
-Might as well make the zombies actual zombies from the series althought Stein isnt technically a zombie
-The pickaxe already looks somewhat like the chain scythe and it would be nice to add further character aspects from the series other then Maka and Soul
-This ones still iffy but if you make arrows vector bolts it would make a little sense

I think what he means is that stuff is naturally dark at night (like Soul Eater is most of the time), and there is a bit of color to Soul Eater (Albeit usually red, and ocationaly orange...) Maybe you could change the sky color to be red during day... so it is like when Shinigami (Lord Death) fought Asura...
In any case I had two questions... While I like the redstone ore/wood texture, I don't know what they are supposed to resemble (They fit well, but don't exactly correlate to anything I can think of...). Mind telling me so I can bump 'em up to HD? By the way, any chance you can fit in Black*Star Dark Sword mode?

PS: I took your idea of Medusa's vector arrows for Redstone wire. Turned out very well and I shall be replacing the wire in all the packs I use with that...
