Hello and welcome to my texturing tutorials/guide. Here you will learn how to texture your own texture packs! All these tutorials are done in Photoshop CS5 which you can download here for free if you don't already have it; that will give you a free 30 day trial. Secondly, the textures in this tutorial are done in 16x16, meaning they are 16 pixels by 16 pixels in resolution. This is not the minimum for texture packs though; they can drop to 2x2. Back to the point; below you will find every tutorial I have completed. Of course, this guide will not cover every block, but enough to get you started. Please leave me any feedback if this guide helped you at all. Thanks, MLGM
Currently, only a few tutorials are out, but I'm working on a few more. If you liked the tutorial and it was clear and helpful, let me know to give me inspiration to continue!
why have you got an adfly link for a tutorial, that's a bit ****ing annoying for anyone expecting anything more than a few screenshots about how to make a blury grey for some stone
First of all, it's not blurry, its called a texture. Secondly, these take a lot of time to make and since I'm giving, you could take 5 seconds out of your life just to give back, sheesh.
I made a tutorial like this for 32x with more than just stone. And I didn't put up an adfly link-- I was trying to help the community. It's kinda sad that you want people to pay for advice. :sad.gif:
this is cool, I'm not a huge fan of the multiple downloads thing, you should make it one download for everything so far, with different folders in it, like stone, grass, etc. The way you're doing it, it seems like your gonna have a new download for every new block.

Well I don't really see why adfly is bad, I give to the community some tutorials to make textures, and they give back 5 seconds, if you think about it that way. I only want to help people, I'm not making them pay anything.
The adfly link would make me not click it...sorry (should be part of the poll). Partially because you bumped your own post 3 times, and partially because I think you should have a ton more done as well as even a tiny bit of interest in it before you put the link on. Just my opinion though.

I didn't bump it 3 times..Only once because these took time for me to make, the other two are updates and replies.. And the adfly link, why is everyone against it? Seriously, it takes 5 seconds and it takes me 25 minutes per block...
Ok first off, you say you are giving to the community. You are, but you are also expecting something in return. Lets take a real life example. Volunteering someplace for old people out of good will, then EXPECTING to be paid for it, yet you clearly were volunteering. Those Adfly aren't cool dude, especially since you only have 2 tutorials out and you try to defend yourself about it. Yes, it only takes 5 seconds of our time, but you are being a douche by taking that time. Not cool.
Thank you :biggrin.gif:
