I just made a pack in under five minutes. if you would like to see it head to the last page of this thread.
Its not too far off from what this is. There is no heart, time or even purpose for these to be uploaded, they have all been done so many time over and it is hurting the forums for people who actually want to make textures.
OH and if he is worried what people think of his pack then he shouldn't post on the internet... cause there are people there.
And as this is the 5-6th pack posted like this today, I am utterly over it.

also it doesnt take hours, it take minutes for someone with a basic knowledge of PS or Paint.net as my link to the thread in a previous comment shows.

i said "hour" not "hours"... and i can expect some negative feed back, but there is such a thing as saying its bad in a nicer way... for example "i don't really like it, i'll stick with my texture pack". and i never said i was trying to be bad. i was just stating that the point of the pack isnt for it to be really HD or detailed, the point is that it looks simple and like a cartoon...

People generally take months to create a texture pack because they want it to look good. Usually they do it because they actually enjoy creating it, as a hobby. Support from others is normally contributed too, unless it's a personal pack.Obviously it's not worked on 24/7, but it's still done with a lot of effort put into every tile.
I can see why you would think months would be a bit over-the-top, but you have to think from someone else's point of view: if you enjoy something, let's say drawing, you're going to do it quite a bit, and normally work on the drawing for about a week to perfect the details. It's the same for a texture, but each drawing is a single texture.
