Hello people of Minecraft! I have a very special Texture Pack for you today! I call it, 'Zack's Pack', because the name sounds simple enough, explains exactly what it is, and best of all, rhymes! Zack's Pack is a texture pack that has many different looks is it, but all of them mold together to make one smooth seamless feel when playing your game. Every texture meshes together using a similar art style, so nothing is too contrasting. I would appreciate any advice or feedback on this pack.
I have hit 200 dowloads! To me, that is indeed a lot, so I would like to say thank you.
What is done
- Main textures (terrain.png)
- Armor edits
- Tool edits
What needs to be done
- Every other item besides tools and ingots
- Armor designs
- Water
- Lava
- Mobs
Major edits just took place, so there are brand new textures to replace the failed 'Dark' textures, which replaced gold with an obsidian style. I have also taken out the name changing en_US.lang, so you do not need to modify anything within the jar to use this texture pack properly. I also made white wool much less contrasting.
Texture pack installation
- Download the pack
- Put the zipped pack in the texture pack folder (Run>%appdata%>.minecraft>Texture Packs)
- Download the HD Patcher
- Run HD Patcher and press "Patch"
- Play
This is really good, you've managed to make a TP that is TRULY 'simple' and not just effortless. A good example.
I really like the ores and netherrack, so my only suggestion for you is to keep going in that direction...
Otherwise, great work, keep it up!
1.20 is coming very soon, this update will include the following:
- Water and Lava
- Particles
- Many more items
1.14 released! The changes include the following.
- Flower bugfix
- Wood redid, associated texture updated
- Clay is now red
- preparations for 1.20
- Stone edits
- Half block edits
- Cobblestone edits
- Mossy cobblestone edits
- Door, Hatch edits
- Builder friendly!
I have hit 150 downloads! Thank you so much! I would love to stress any suggestions are very much so welcome.
If there is anything you wish to suggest, criticize or praise, please let me know! Also, I need feedback on the builder friendly stone changes so I know whether or not to keep them. Oh, and I changed the font of the post, to keep it noticeable.
What is going on as of right now. As of right now, I am working on a very detailed and professional 32x RPG pack. so far, with the little I have done, it looks to be one of the better packs out there. It is not simple, in fact, it is as detailed, if not more than Dokucraft and its spinoffs. I know that sounds like a lot but if you were working on these textures you would say the same thing. 1.20 is coming along nicely now. Water is almost finished.
Oh, and just a reminder, even though I highly doubt anyone would copy these sub par textures, I have updated and now have a legitimate copyright over the artwork portrayed.
