Yeah, he does pretty well. I see it as the more pixels, the harder it is to do gravel. Gravel is essentially organized noise, which has the potential to look horrible if not done correctly. It's really a complicated texture if you're familiar with creating HD packs.

I can try to get a few more textures that I have on my computer. I'd have to look around a bit though :smile.gif:

Gravel shouldn't look like organized noise though. Gravel should look like a bunch of small rocks / pebbles, 'cause that's what gravel is.

What a wonderful idea.

A flat cobble meant for flooring that I'll never use as I gave up on making a 32x pack. The dark, thick grout didn't work well with the pack anyhow, but it tiles decently and might fit with someone else's pack.


And some texture photos I took a while back for personal use. I'll try to get some more useful ones when the light is better.

Very nice. Especially the gravel picture. Very clear, and perfect for use in an 128x + pack.

Nice. Although, it'd have to be highly edited to work out well as a texture. Mainly a huge contrast boost. But, it's still very helpful so thank you x 14.3.

A few more I took while walking the dogs. If these are too redundant to what you already have, feel free to discard 'em. Also, found out that it's kinda hard to take pictures of a tree when the dog you're walking wants to pee on said tree. :ohmy.gif:

Well, I originally drew this cobble for Impression but it is too...something, for the pack. Not quite sure exactly but it doesn't blend well with my other textures. So I figured I would post it here :biggrin.gif:
