Hey everyone! It's me - TheKoSLaK - otherwise known as just CoSLaK - and I have completed my texture pack. I had a different forum post, but it is far too old for anyone to notice, so I am remaking it here! If any moderators would spare the time to delete the old one, that' d be great :smile.gif:
But anyways, back to business.
I have been hard at work for the past few weeks to make my own texture pack - a blend of simplistic textures that I feel look nice :smile.gif: I hope everyone can comment below and give me some insight of what could be changed, and currently, until I get some inspiration, I am going to leave saplings, leaves and shrubs (including wild grass and dead bushes, etc) alone.
Here are a few videos detailing how I got to where it is, and pictures too :smile.gif:
Why'd you switch? Also, I've never seen anyone fill up a second post that's a "reserve" and I sincerely doubt you will fill up the OP and four reserves, so why are they there? @pack, it looks too simple.
I switched because it wasn't getting enough traffic, and because I wanted to get the 10 post thing out of the way. Unfortunately, people flocked to this topic.
And you say it looks TOO simple? What could I do to improve it? You know, instead of just making a brand new pack - of course.

Simple packs almost never go over well, if you want to make something interesting, add detail, maybe make it 32x or 64x. Or, you could just add some noise, maybe Google some pictures of grass, etc. to get an idea of what to do =)

Wind Waker Texture Pack and for Pocket Edition! ~ Texture Pack Central - Large directory of Texture Packs!
But some textures, like brick, stone, obsidian etc. Aren't like that! Didn't you see the new pictures?
The point was that at least those blocks were, and if you don't have a consistent theme, then it is worse D= So keep your theme consistent and don't go for the generic look =D

Okay, I'll try and get the rest of them to be similar
They still have that annoying border around them =/
But it is quite a bit less noticeable, no? And I did put a texture on 'em. For the rest of the blocks I was able to be rid of the border, except for giant mushrooms and stone! :sad.gif:

Add more detail. All textures, from what I can see, are one solid color with a border. That's not original, that's been done thousands of times.
