@Vitrolic - Thanks so much for the name suggestions! I especially liked Organic. I may have to find a way to work that in. And those screenshots are wonderful! I'll be sure to include them in the main post. Thank you! :smile.gif:
@Dorian - I'm quite flattered, thank you!
@Appleslinky - Hey, thank you! I'm not sure the style of the pack might reach to a super large audience, so I'm not overly concerned with it's popularity. I'm just happy that anyone likes it in the first place. :smile.gif:
And good morning everyone! (Or afternoon or evening due to those silly timezones and what not.) I jumped up to 80+ downloads last night, so that's pretty awesome!
I've decided that paintings, mobs and armors will be done in strictly 64x. That way they can gently sit in both packs and look like they fit in either way.
It's the 'Hub' of texture packs and it's stickied and the main supply of views and downloads as it always remains on the first page and that's usually where members and guests go and look at packs, also I love 'Simply Organic'. Thank you for the credit! I've 'liked' this topic and I'll be watching over, good luck!
New update! This time it's all about that there 64x version.
Changes include..
Adding an Alternate Textures file which includes Lighter Cobble/Mossy Cobble, Stone Steps, Wool and Refined Ore Blocks. Because I've included the stone steps and wool, I have removed the wool version from the download list.
Let me know if any of those look particularly wonky, I haven't had a chance to test them short of tiling them in my editing program.
Hopefully, when everything's wrapped up, I'll have customizers made so you all don't have to do that manually. I would like to get both packs 'finished' before I do that however, and I really appreciate your patience!
Beautiful job. And I love the name of the pack; it is quite unique. I've seen a lot of texture packs, but this one really stands out in the crowd. :biggrin.gif:

That's quite the compliment, thank you very much! <3
Also, thanks for providing a wide selection of alternates. I used a few of them.
Of course! I'm glad they could find some use :smile.gif:
I figure not everyone will like 100% of the pack, and people enjoy a little customization to make it feel like the pack is more personal, and I like that myself as well.
Well hey, the packs hit 200 downloads last night, that's awesome!
Something that makes me particularly happy is that both 32x and 64x versions seem to be getting equal traffic. That's pretty cool.
So, today I think I'll work on the item sheet a while. I tested it last night, and I like the look of 32x items. Anything bigger to me just looks strange. So I've decided items will be in 32x format, and paintings and mobs will be 64x.
I'm not 100% about what resolution I want to do the armor at. I'll most likely get to that last, so I'll have time to think.
Also, I would like to mention that the ores in the 32x pack are hopefully going to get a little love from me soon. They look a little too blurry sometimes, and I don't particularly like that. May even gently tweak the 64x ore to 'pop' a tiny bit more. Nothing dramatic, though.
That sounds great, I really want this pack to flourish. I regularly look at new threads just to find awesome new 'not mainstream' (hipster minecrafter :tongue.gif:) packs. I really believe that I have found a gem in the huge caves of texture packs and this one really stood out, this ain't no lame stone.

'Hipster Minecrafter" made me giggle. Thank you so much! It really gives me a warm fuzzy feeling when I hear things like this. Hopefully I can keep you enthralled!
Fixed flowing water being too bright.
New lava for both packs - No more blurry lava in 64x! Yay!
New and tweaked ore for both packs.
Skull blocks got a little love in 32x.
64x now has 32x styled railings (to stick with the clarity theme).
Here's a screenshot of the new 32x ores. 64x ores got more of a tweak than an overhaul, so I wont post a screeny of those.
Hope you guys don't mind me throwing out so many updates. I've just been a busy bee, haha.
So, when I'm feeling particularly uninterested in one thing, sometimes I'll work on something on the side to sort of.. balance my work load, if you will. Get sick of chocolate, eat some vanilla, etc. I thought I'd give you all a small teaser of what I've been piddling with recently when I'm not feeling the right 'vibe' for working on this pack.
Black iridescent diamond and lava heated gold from the depths of the earth..
And an ashy volcanic field. (Lava pools placed by myself for effect.. shhhh..)
It even has a half assed back story I'm working on. Can't say for sure if/when this will get released, but it's still fun to work on it.
Wow! This actually looks really cool! I'm not too keen on the skull-like ore blocks, but they are very nicely done.
Thank you very much! :biggrin.gif: That's totally understandable. Those were originally for a custom map we were making, but I decided to stick them in the final product. Of course, it's also why I decided to offer optional refined ore blocks, hehe. I had a feeling not everyone would like it.
WONDERFUL TEXTURE PACK. Sorry I had some sort of freak out. Today I used it in game, and I fell in love. Once again, Congrats!
What I like:
The Grass and how it has not one but 2 lumps XD, The sapling, the alternate candle pumpkin, the ores, the creeper bed, the particles, the cobblestone, the soul sand, the furnace and so much more!
What I'm not so in love with:
the sand seems a bit grainy (that is my only complaint).

Aww, I'm sorry you don't like my sand! I suppose that's a personal preference. :smile.gif: I like my sand and dirt all speckle-y and such. You are more than welcome to tweak it to your personal preference, if you'd like.
As for the rest- I'm really glad you like it! I'm honestly not sure what to say besides that I have a big ol' grin on my face because of this. Thank you!
No problem. It's just it has been a while since I seen a amazing texture pack. You know, with all those simple packs, it sometimes gets a little difficult to filter in the good ones, like this one. :biggrin.gif:

I will change the name on the actual packs when I do an update. :smile.gif:

(So many edits, haha. My typing is derpy today.)
