is there any application that will easily let me change the mob's skin? like skinedit, but for mobs? or any vid, telling wut part is wut? like this :

but for mobs(creeper,cow,chicken,etc,etc), not humans

Try looking at the mob in game to see what part goes on what, Than edit the mob texture.

get a skin on skindex go to run searh %appdata% go to you're bin open you're minecraft.jar with 7-zip or WinRaR and then go to you're mob and replace it :smile.gif: done! (ps rename it wht ever mob you change I might make a video soon!

The only way I know of is probably what you already know of, which is opening the mob skin png with an editing software (ie: Paint.NET), editing it to your liking, and saving it.

Whaaa? If you replace a mob skin with a player skin, it won't wrap correctly.

no, im talking about like a app, that will let me edit mob skins... i know how to w/ just using paintbrush, but i wuz wondering if theres a easier way

im talkin about mobs...(chickens,creepers,etc etc)
