terrain.png is (finally) finished. Furnace's have been changed to a futuristic tube and coil system. The lights are now flashlight/lantern style gui. most of the ores looks have been altered to a more stylish look. cactus changed. half blocks and iron changed. both tv screen are now on and one of them is words and the other is a computer screen. onto the armor and animals!
I had a thought while working on the map today. I don't think the Na'vi texture pack will need doors, so they should probably be the same as the RDA one, so when (during the Na'vi campaign) going to Hell's Gate the doors don't look strange.
UPDATE: Wolves are done. I looked up pictures of Ikran and they are not suitable for ghasts since they are long slim winged beasts. I would like pictures of the Medusa (color would be nice) since I couldn't find and suitable ones where I looked. Thanks and as of now I am working on other animals.

Yeah, I kinda realized ikrans wouldn't work. As for the Medsua, the only picture I have is in the guide book, and it is a "sketch" with no color. I found this picture, which is the one I have:
According to the avatar wiki, they are pink/purple. Not much to go on, but it's something. Also, the more I think about it, the more I realize that the terrain should probably be the same for both the Na'vi and the RDA packs, excluding like, torches, because I want both structures to look the same in each adventure map, no matter what pack you use. I think the only real differences will need to be in the items and the zombies and skeletons.
Awesome. I actually thought of something that I meant to tell you. For gold ingots on the Na'vi pack, could that be some kind of gold idol or treasure. I need something on the Na'vi pack to collect like on the RDA (which will be unobtanium). Although I think diamonds as unobtanium would be good on both packs.
Edit: And one more thing. The TNT on the na'vi side sort of needs to look like some sort of plant, and the same with the gunpowder on the Na'vi texture pack.
Just saw on the main page that the 1.8 terrain and items png have been released. I don't think this map will be done before the 1.8 release, so if you want to go ahead and use those (and transfer what you have done onto the new files) that would be great. I've transferred to a new file before, and it's not hard. I think you can just copy and paste the area over the other part of the file.
I can even do better, I can retextured some of the ones I know. Thanks for letting me know. Some of the textures I have no idea what they are so they will not be retextured. Some of the textures are mysterious on the terrain.png?

Awesome. And yeah, I'm not sure what some of it is. One is watermelon, I know that, and there seems to be a new type of mossy block, but other than that I have no idea. Also, I noticed on items that the bow has multiple textures for different positions. I don't know what you want to do about that with the machine gun texture. Obviously the Na'vi bow will be fine the way it is. Also, if it's not too much trouble, could you send me an updated version of the pack so I can get some more screenshots?

For the bow animations a light appears; Green: light draw, Yellow: Medium draw, and Red: critical. I am 99% sure that all the textures are in the right pixels the reason being I can't test them because 1.8 isn't out yet. Anyway I may put this texture pack up for download to the general public for more downloads and popularity and if possible could I see a beta version of the map just to check out to see if I could improve on anything thing?

You should spawn inside Hell's Gate. If you can give yourself a map, then you can see the mine and the unfinished Valkeryie on it. If you head to the top left corner of the the map (map 0) you should find Hometree.
Edit: I checked out the texture pack, and I must say, I like everything. The only thing I saw was that the skeletons looked like Na'vi. Because of the fact they will hold a gun, I think I want the skeletons to look like RDA. The reasoning in the story will just be that there are traitors. It should probably be the same the on the Na'vi pack, with the skeletons looking like Na'vi. Other than that, I love the pack!
