Hi. Thank you for clicking on the Simply Smooth texture pack. This texture pack is for anyone that wants to keep the classic style of Minecraft, but make things look simple and cartoon-ish. If you'd like a little background information on this texture pack, read ahead. I started making this texture pack because I wanted to keep the stlye of classic minecraft but make it look a little more smooth. My computer is a 5 year old hunk of junk and so I wanted to make a texture pack that didn't make my Minecraft look bad or run at nearly 10 FPS. So, after almost 1 1/2 months of work, I am finally finished. I have been playing MC for nearly a year now and I must say, this pack looks really nice. Thanks for reading and please at least try it out. And leave some criticism. I want this to be a nice texture pack that many will enjoy and use for a long time.
I have finished a 32x version of this texture pack. It took me almost 16 hours. I hope you like it because if you don't, than my time has been well wasted. Not really. I really like it. I am glad it came out nice. Oh, by the way, I used Dokucraft as a template so don't say I stole it. It is up for public use anyway. Check the thread. Thanks :smile.gif:
32x terrain.png (My new artwork. I am happy with myself :biggrin.gif:)
16x terrain.png (this is what you will see when you play)
items.png (these are the items you will use)
The usual
Coal Ore (this was the first thing i found :tongue.gif:)
Trees and the Tall Grass (not so tall anymore)
Mountain and the water (not very well done. Sorry, I'm really bad at the water texture. Nothing comes out right)
Cow and a glimpse at the health bar and the hotbar (yes i killed it)
The Nether Blocks (I have a Nether basement)
Mah MLG House (took about 1 month to build that bad boy. I might show you a tour in the future)
Lighthouse (TooManyItems was used)
So, if you like what you see, give this bad boy a download. Thanks for your time and I hope you enjoy the Simply Smooth Texture Pack!!!
If you were to reduce the width of the black borders, I'd definitely download it right now.
Edit: 1st Edit Again: Also, I'd like to thank you for taking the time to add pictures before you added this post. It's nice to see someone make the extra effort doing it right the first time, rather than having all of us yelling at you, telling you to add pictures/video. +'d you.
I'll start working on some different things like making one without the lines and maybe a 32x (that might take a while) thanks for the criticism people!

Yes. Definitely. I'd love this pack if you did that.
There is one thing :tongue.gif:
It looks less simple than it is a bit 'Toon-ish' with the outlines, but that aside, it looks great.
Wait! How does a creeper look like?
Yes. Definitely.
Yes, that's be greatly appreciated, also, if you could work on the items a bit, that'd be even nicer. :biggrin.gif:
