ok... gimme a couple days to tweak the shader files and I'll post the test for 1.0 compatible with shaders.
also... this is a call to anyone smarter than me to please convert my custom shader bundle to dax's new format. I don't have the knowledge to do it myself. (Alree put it together for me) I would love you forever!
uploaded a test I'm playing with for 1.0 with GLSL support. it seems I need to redo all the mapping for this version of glsl at this point, but it is just the first 1.0 build and is not final.

edit: I am relying still on misas pack for any placeholders for 1.0 textures as well as the ones already listed. also.. this version has a few changes, like alien pack stone and a new set of ores. I really need a 256x customizer.
thanks to some awesome help from the locals on the glsl thread I am back in business and testing new stuff! I'll get updates rolling out as quickly as I can. First priority is fixing the existing glsl files, and then I'll start getting the placeholders replaced.

Your bricks look like cobble and your cobble looks like brick.
Also, bumpmapping on the glass panes seems to be off. get an odd artifact when looking at them.
I know..it's such a lazy recolor.... I keep meaning to rework the manufactured textures(brick,mossy,sandstone) but it's never become a priority. (I even did it with the alt pack..for shame)
as for the glass...I'm on that.. it's the same issue as with any other texture that has transparency.. I made the normals wrong for them this time. I'll have it fixed and back to it's former working glory with the shine and everything in a few days.
the cobble shares a texture with the tops of the sandstone, and the bricks share the texture for the sides of sandstone. cobble is cobble, and bricks are bricks.. the textures are in the right places. I'm not sure I know what you mean.

What I mean is, with your texture pack installed, when I look at a cobble wall, it has a brick texture to it. When I look at a brick wall it has a cobble texture to it.
sorry for the wait... got really distracted by Skyrim.. going to be doing some major texture overhauls for it once the toolkit comes out if anyone is interested.
now...on topic... uploading the latest version of the pack now. it will be test 2. replaced wool,sand,dirt,chests, got the rough draft for enchant table minus book.. few other things. brought back the old stone/ores.. cleaned up the bumpmapping.. can't remember all I did honestly but I am getting closer to the look I was originally going for. I am working with some new software, so I have fewer limitations to what I can do. Expect a bunch of new alt. textures soon. I'll put them into a terrain.png so everyone can copy/paste to their hearts content, and make separate packs once full themes are realized.
I apologize if anything is there that shouldn't be... I may have left in the items from JJJas0ns fancycraft.. I'll check in a few and either ask for permission to use them or remove them. I have a horrible habit of testing stuff out and forgetting to replace it with the right ones.
also... I am looking for someone to work on the items for this pack. I don't have the means to create them the way I need to atm, so if anyone is willing I would appreciate the help.(and give full credit of course.)
permission attained for using Fancycraft items. I'm getting started on my own.. but it's a slow process. My plants are a testament to how crappy my skills at converting scanned sketches are. I'm not going to pretend to be able to give y'all an eta on them.
playing around with some more new textures... I'll get some new screens up asap. not that many people are following this anymore, but look for another test in a couple days.
Also.. I would love some feedback from the few who have downloaded the new tests. I'm depending on my niece and nephew for bug reports and advice. (HELP! lol)
got motivated last night and accidentally got sucked into a nine hour marathon of experimentation with vector art combined with custom built filters and a new color palette... changing the main link to what came of that marathon since nobody really cares about the pack anymore anyway...lol Lemme know what you think.
and if anyone wants the old version stuff, I'm rearranging them into an archive folder.. I'll make it public once I'm done. (gonna pull out the animations and host them as a separate dl since they have only changed twice.)
I'll change the op with updated screens and info later... need to get some more... and do a vid I guess. I already have an idea for one.. gonna try my hand at editing a real vid..
anyway...screens
edit: keep in mind some things like the clay and enchant table are wip or idea phase...lol
