moar previews... changed up the dark style a bit...made it more alien worldish..still gonna do the other one too once I finish this one. added new sandstone/brick/slab/cobble/etc. options.. going to have them in both styles (two and three segment) and multiple colors. (got all rpg'd...lol) did sand,torches,redstone.
I'll put the general story idea up for the theme once it's done... maybe have an adventure map contest. (I'll put up a poll once I'm closer to finished)
finished off the alt wools last night, finishing the planks next (plastic this time for the alien theme). also gonna get some testing and creation done on the 1.8 stuff since it got leaked and I can see the stuff in game. any thoughts on the new stuff?
added a flower to the cactus... it needed it...lol got everything but the watermelon and chest done...so hopefully I'll have the update ready tomorrow. I also tweaked the clouds and rain.. and a couple other random things.. still having a little issue with the broken cloud edges but that's an ongoing battle. I'll get some screens up later.

I doubt that is the reason...lol over 5k downloads in the last 3 days.... lack of comments is just laziness.
the main reason I don't have lower resolutions is that even your bottom of the barrel pc's now come standard with enough ram to run this by allocating 2gig to java(my friend runs it fine on a 32bit vista system). I think lower resolutions will take away a lot of the quality of the work I have done on minor details, and that in itself is enough for me to not want to find the extra time to go through and do a proper resize. But given enough demand for it (which would take people commenting...lol) I will do so. (unless I can find someone willing to do it before that happens) I know it sounds like I'm being lazy, but with glsl support(even though it's temporarily gone), it takes resizing 3 different versions of the terrain one texture at a time. (that takes a lot of work touching up stray pixels and such)
aw man Cowed...that sucks dude. 1.8 has improved my framerates...but chunk loading is taking longer... it's like server lag in singleplayer
At this point I'm almost considering decompiling everything and figuring out how to turn flowing animations off and change the autosave ticks to the 30 minutes per save option that optifine gives us...

just got the updated water shader mod.... my water looks gorgeous with it. have to adjust it a bit for night time... but wow...I am officially supporting it once glsl gets updated, IF they are compatible.
