This is the standard pack... I don't think it's necessary to upload another version when it only takes 30 seconds to open a zip and remove two files (not being rude, 4k downloads and only one complaint.). And no, the GLSL mod doesn't take any special kind of card, it just takes a decent computer and a little bit of adjustment.

tweaked the water animation a bit. smoothed it out and gave it a much more vibrant color. also fixed the tiling on the new leaves. forgot to grab a screen of the tweaked leaves.. but here is the water.

I started to do that with my first pack...and then my camera got misplaced permanently..lol I am doing everything I can to avoid using any photo's or stock at all this time. at this point I think having less than 10% of the new stuff having anything not made by me vs the old pack being 90% not mine is acceptable for now. I do plan on getting rid of it all, but my skill is not quite up to par for some of them. I think I would much rather hand draw the textures and scan them in... I had a lot of fun playing with those plants..lol I just need to get a little more consistent with the final outcome.

uploading a mediafire mirror.. I'll update the op when it's done. (also reupping the dropbox since there are changes to the pack) It will have the smoothed out water, foliage, my lame attempt at a creeper... It's nowhere near done... but it's gonna be in there.


Also the download is 20mb smaller since I made the water animation smaller.

I saw that and can't wait to try it! once it is in a stable form I'll test it out and see if I can get it to run alongside glsl.

umm... I haven't dealt with the white box issue before.... I know I have seen a lot about it on the other 256x threads but never really payed much attention since I haven't experienced the issue. couple questions....

1: have you used other 256x packs?
2: are you using aageons modified launcher?


edit: @everyone: I got nothing done today for the pack at all... got challenged to try to animate the lava from Albion... want to choke Dante80 now for choosing that texture...lol

ugggh... ati updated.... so.. I found out how much of an effect AA had on my textures in game... cleaning up the terrain so the borders I never saw are gone.

ok..so I take back the wanting to choke Dante comment...lol I now have my hands on the source textures and am super happy. time to go to work :tongue.gif:

haha.. they take a bit of preparation. (Allocating more memory to java) I suggest downloading Nature's Lust both because it is an amazing pack(if you can run it) and the x64 installer does the work for you. If you aren't on 64bit windows, see THIS thread.

working on the first set of alt textures...kinda stumped on the ui, I swear it will get done lol.... any suggestions for ui/tools/items?

got stuck for some reason on simple today... here are some of the textures that popped out. (there are 19 so far...lol)


super simple.. should I keep going and make an all simple theme?
