Honestly, I didn't mind the concrete textures with the temples. Just make the color more brownish as opposed to white. And the bricks... make them colored like the cobble, just more designed like the vanilla brick texture (clay bricks that is...). And sorry it took me a while to get back to ya, I just had a really long car trip is all.
Edit: The Cobble actually has a very aztec/mayan color in torchlight. And Mossy. Fix it. NOW.
aahhh... but all stone isn't brown.. most of it yes. thankfully with the stonecolor.png I can alter the range of colors it can be. I haven't quite nailed it yet, but I'm trying to make it have a natural range from browns to greys.
the stone bricks look good, and I stopped caring if anything in the pack followed the rules of the real world a long time ago...lol
( this is why the brown stone was gone for so long.. too many complaints.)
once everything is caught up to 1.3 I'll give those a mods a better look and see what I actually have to offer for them... I feel bad just leaving it to you with no idea what you've gotten yourself into...lol
so...playing around with attaching the different concrete textures( cobble, furnaces, bricks, etc) to the stonecolor.png... works pretty well. I have some fine tuning to do... but it fixes the weirdness of jungle temples. still working out a better moss texture though.
edit: I not only got a moss texture I can live with... I used the bevel from it to create a nice addition to the cobble textures... and they are all working pretty well so far with the color properties of the stone... still needs some tweaks, but I'm totally stoked about it!
Is that a new and absolutely awesome netherrack texture I see?And BTW, I don't know if it's my computer or what, but for some reason, the glass and bookshelf sides are blacked out.
edit: hehe... added some lava to the netherrack.. finally... lol and some souls to the SS. the nether feels 100% more creepy now... especially with the red lighting.
whoohoo! dax confirmed he's working on the update for the shader mod... yay! we'll be back to the 3D goodness in no time! (now if only we could convince SonicEther to add bumpmapping to his shaders!)
you my friend are totally on my brainwave! lol I have a few ideas for it already...
not only can you do ctm textures for any block, but you can specify how it looks by what block it is next to, how many are together, etc... so I have a way to do a proper mossy texture that tiles perfectly with non mossy textures. It's gonna be a lot of work, but I want to make it where every block has a specific texture when joined to each different block type. (got some real nice test textures for stacked furnaces already)
check the info for artists in the mcpatcher op. or check out Misas' pack for all the different stuff you can accomplish with it. (she does some amazing things with hers!)
realized the dirt texture was broken... but in making the new grass, I made a new dirt too.. and a matching mycelium. And also finished the end texture. still not happy with the dirt... but it'll get there in time. (it looks waaay different with shaders... can't wait for them to be updated!!!)
nothing new today...put a poll up about the 64x.. not feeling too well, so I really didn't get anything done with the pack... tweaked the clouds a little.... worked a bit on the daytime skyboxes for better skies support.
I'm thinking now is a good time to slow back down to updating once a week, and take some time to actually play again...lol

Curse PremiumDownloads updated to V2.04. Both resolutions. 64x has ctm support now. See the changelog on the op for the rest of the details.
edit: here's a shot of the test for ctm grass for V2.05 (and new grass texture!).. full ctm support is my focus for the next update right now.
