well.. found a few issues... but it's nothing I can fix. it's an issue with how the shaders wrap the textures on the surface(like the weird line on grass sides, but on other blocks).... maybe it will be fixed in the 1.3 version.
decided to make the sides of the half blocks match... looks soooo much better. I don't think I can get much more of a modern feel out of the pack now... except for maybe the ore blocks.. also made the mossy cobble match the other mossy stone. still not quite happy with it. and I added a border to the glowstone to make it look better as lamps and such. anyway.. I'll keep tweaking stuff until someone suggests something else..lol on to screenshots. these are from the Imperial City map I snagged off PMC.
it doesn't... gotta wait for it to be updated after 1.3 official. (if dax comes back to do it, or someone else takes up the project) I just updated the files in advance and tested them with 1.2.5. (moved emerald textures into other places to test the bumps and used my old ui folder so it didn't look screwy)

balls..... I'll see what's goin on with it... it was fine in previous versions... and hasn't changed since like beta 1.8... odd.
edit: grrr... I knew it was doing it on flowing animations since 1.2... I thought it was the shaders making it happen... but seeing it now, it's wrapping the texture weird. and I'm only using the patcher right now.... it's off by like 2 pixels on the still lava too.. but only from certain angles... I'm really gonna hate having to redo it...

edit: just pull the animation out of the pack... can always just add the first frame to the correct spots on the terrain.png and have it static until then.

they look retarded with the concrete... I switched out the textures with the stone bricks and they looks great, and they looked better with the real cobble that I pulled out.
I'm gonna make a survival version, with the real cobble, and no concrete. which means new furnaces and stuff too! (already have a couple textures complete.... and about 300 more I never finished for use.)
ooo... speaking of those extra textures... I'll go through them and pull out any that may help with the mod support. (and toss up a download.)
and on an unrelated note... somehow, the view count for my adlfly link far outnumbers the downloads since I posted it... weird.
also, I'm reuploading the 256x pack... nobody told me it had an error with the file....
I haven't gotten anything done... totally got caught up in a good book. (and just picked up the second one.. so another day before I get any new work done. lol) but... it'll give y'all a few days without any changes to maybe find more bugs and report them. (fingers crossed)

see...lack of feedback failure... my 6 year old neice just pointed out a few things I forgot to fix... like making the glass panes match the new glass and ctm texture... c'mon guys... that hurts!
