back to work...lol got most of the extrabiomesxl stuff done.... and in the process I changed the tree cutaway in the main pack. gonna do a ctm for it too, that's next up.
updating all the downloads as I type this. going to submit updates to curse today as well, so look for those within the next couple of days. I'm going to continue working on more items, get the brewing stand done finally, and get more mod support finished and posted. I'll start releasing v2.08 test downloads next week.
seuss is tricky.... I only got it to work correctly the one week I had it on 1.4.2. lol try using the official seuss lightmap. I modified it a bit and it worked for me... but I haven't had any feedback on it from others. maybe I should switch it back to the official one in my adjusted pack.....
edit: also adding support for emasher's biomes (one texture..lol) and industrial farming. (already done! will post dl later when I redo my downloads)
edit: previews! I'm actually thinking about replacing gravel with the mixed dirt texture...and doing another for mod....lol
edit: @everyone: totally went with changing the gravel to the mod texture in the spoiler up there...and made another one similar that matches for the mod. also made a texture for extrabiomesxl for the bad sand that matches it as well. gravel will be in next update, hopefully I'll get all these mods textured that I'm playing with soon and get those links up.
got some ideas for a couple more textures, and have been texturing on my breaks from the game...lol my pc can run it on highest settings, but it whines... my baby is getting old! lol have to let it cool down every couple hours.
anyway... I have been paying a lot of attention to the texture work, and got some great ideas on how to improve some of mine. (even thinking of doing a 512x AC3 inspired terrain... reeeeaaally thinking about it)
@bosky2102: there are a couple versions of the shader mod that have been updated by others since daxnitro has been otherwise occupied. one only works with optifine and the other is behind an update. daxnitro wanted to abandon it until a proper api was released way back in beta 1.4'ish, so I imagine it's not a real priority for him now.
anyway... I was using the one compatible with mcpatcher for 1.4.2, with a modified version of the SEUSS shaders for a while there. (they are available for download btw) since he added bumpmapping and the water shader to his set, I couldn't resist. lol the math is strong in that one.

what is it with games these days? all the good series end trilogies with short, disappointing endings. no wonder so many people play modern fps games.... they know exactly what they are getting every time.

it's in the changelog... only thing added to the list is useful foods. (I think) I'm also probably adding support for Mo'creatures minus the creatures...lol (only items and terrain stuff) but no promises on releasing that one... (my nieces requested it so I have to.... I didn't want to even touch Mo'Creatures because it adds sooooooo much, but I'm digging the difficulty all the hostile mobs add to the game.)
I'm trying to make all the mods I play with match the pack for my personal/family use... I have a lot to do! lol but I'm releasing them as I get them at least playable. I'm trying really hard as well to make the textures both match my pack, but be perfectly playable with other packs as well. The other players here at home all use different packs, mostly realistic ones like Misa's, but most of them don't have mod textures for everything we use....
also, I'm thinking about making a barrel style cauldron... I've seen it done in quite a few packs/mods now, and I'm really digging the extra decorative uses for it as a barrel.
edit: Lanterns! that's what I forgot... gonna add those too. and it looks like someone already did a great ChocoCraft overhaul.. so I'm taking that off my list for now.
put up a poll about the cauldron..lemme know what you guys think.
also, I may be putting off another update until after the holidays. the only thing I told anyone I wanted as a gift is a stylus pad so I can draw properly. My S.i.L. gave me a $50 budget, and I found a pretty decent 6" pressure sensitive one on newegg that is just under the budget. new toy! whoohoo! (I have been saving all my adfly profit for it, but it will take another 6 months or so to make it.)
so, I made a new world to test out the full bundle of Pam's Mods... I'm a fan... adding it all to the mod support to do list.. but anyway...found this plateau with a pond on it and decided it needed a mansion..... 6 hours and 3 redesigns later, here's where I'm at...lol
also... I have been playing the crap out of Torchlight 2.. I love the art style. I really love the art style. (W.o.W,R.o.M.,Reckoning, got my eye on Wildstar) so I'm thinking my next project will be similar. anyone else want a pack in that style?
I am done going mod crazy.... I have a set now that I'm happy with...(57) and have most of it looking the way I want terrain wise. I'm working on the latest addition hopefully over the next few days. I'll start pumping out items after xmas.

a rather large japanese village in an autumn biome. thatch texture is unfinished.
bricks.... how do y'all feel about them? still want to drop the concrete for regular bricks? and if so, should they be large, small, color?
the reason i ask is because I'm using Witches and More, and it adds a new brick with slabs,stairs, etc... also a new furnace with working chimneys... and all match the bricks... which are blueish by default... it also adds an awesome fantasy biome that is crazy cool.
