Ok, with 1.8 projected to come out in two days, I am pleased to annouce that Umbie's Semi-Modern Texture v1.4 will come out the night before the suspected release as a percautionary measure. This version is vastly improved, and I will release an update about a week after the release since I don't know what the new textures are, even if I know what they look like. That update will address the new 1.8 textures, and any other SPECIFIC complaints I get in the next week.
Also, a beta version of 1.4 (but compatible with 1.7, not 1.8) is somewhere on these forums, if you find it post so :smile.gif: It can be your personal sneak peak.

Ok, I released my 1.8 version, sick of this waiting game, even though the pre-release is out. Cobble sucks. Just throwin that out there. I had to hastily cook something up to replace my old cobble which I moved to stone brick. I'm not gonna be playing 1.8 until 2 weeks ish after its release, so please post suggestions and pictures! :biggrin.gif:
I will get pics once I can update (I don't update since I'm too lazy to revert and play on an un-updated server) If someone could put some download links to pics on here so I could post them, that'd be great. Or, I'll get pics within the next week. I totally get that.
1.41 is just a quick fix. I will try to make some time over this weekend to come out with a 1.45 that addresses the cobble, and many of the new 1.8 things, as well as other underlying issues. Until then, please give suggestions. I will post photos with that update also.
I am discontinuing any support I had for my texture pack, as I am not really playing minecraft anymore. If you like it enough, you may take the files, and modify the pack to your pleasing, as well as make your own thread for it, provided you pm me minimal information about how well (or badly) you're doing with it.

Well, you could download 1.8. Also, you need pics. There is no way I am going to download something without them sorry.
