now it looks like the ore is in the brick, so if you make the diamond block look like diamond bricks then it will look like it is mined out of the ore you see?

The ore looks good, but the problem is that it's 201x201. If you scale it down to 32x32, it ends up looking the same as everything else. Its too small to make it look good.
Maybe you could help. All help would be good, as I dont have that much experience with this. But originally I wanted to make this on my own. And maybe use adf.ly to see if I could make some money. We'll see.
For the glowstone I would combine the top one and the bottom one. Make the middle of the yellow bricks lighter like the one on the bottom and the outer part dimmer like the bottom ones to make it look like it glows. I would make the grey bricks brown like the outside of the glowstone below.

No, ad.fly is fine. InspirationI would make the leaves like every other block except with a few bricks missing here and there. I would start thinking about glass. That would be a toughy.Inspiration

Original glass is a pain in the ass with that reflection or whatever in it. All bricks would make it worse. I could keep them as they are now (see pic), or try to make them brick-themed. Maybe bricks around the edges.
Its been a busy week, was my birthday 3 days ago (August 10th)so I haven't been able to do much. I did the leaves when I had some time. Today I've been working on fixing every block with the wrong brick-size.
To give something back, I'll show you the wool that I've managed to make.
And I'm aware that this usually don't that this long. People make good texture packs in a few hours. You just have to bear with me, I'm usually not in the mood of making texture packs when I suck at it.

We're officially a work in progress and we could always use some extra hands.
