I'm in need of some epic screenshots. I don't really have any maps that do the pack justice. Post your screenshots and I'll add them to the post.

After many months of simply being an anonymous guest on these forums, a lot has changed. I've felt the need to create and contribute to the community. When looking through all of the Zelda themed texture packs, I was surprised that there weren't any packs that had a realistic style.
Having little retexturing experience in minecraft, I wished for a realistic Zelda style texture pack, I yearned for a texture pack that I would eventually have to create.
Adventurecraft
I found Adventurecraft a few months later, and started development on a Zelda map. I wanted to make a sequel to OoT and MM, so I worked and worked and worked until I was able to release a short demo of the map. The map was an instant success, with downloads hitting 12,000 in 2 short months.
However, even with this success I was dissatisfied with the map. I wanted to make it even better. I wanted to make it seem like you weren't even playing minecraft anymore. I started to work with a few other map developers and coders to work on making an unforgettable experience that players would love to immerse themselves in.
I decided that one of the ways to do this was to make a high resolution texture pack for the map. I didn't want players to be forced into having to use 128x128 textures that some people don't like, so I also have been working with Ironsentron to make another Adventurecraft texture pack that is Wind Waker themed (you can see his pack here at The Great Sea and Dungeons of Hyrule texture packs
I've never really made a minecraft texture pack before and so I'd like criticisms from other high res texture artists. Let me know what you think! The main thing I'm worried about is improper tiling.
I also updated the water and dirt textures. They look much more pleasant now.

Oh wow I'm guessing that you guys really want this texture pack haha I guess I'll have to put up a download link. After seeing 100 views in less than 5 minutes I'm thinking that I ought to put up the download link very soon.
Keep checking back here. I think I want to release the pack this week but I'm not sure. In any case, I'll be releasing the next version of my adventurecraft map first.
hey this textures great! did you make it from scratch?
A few textures yes, most are rescaled and heavily modified (probably more than 50-60% for each tile) so that they work with minecraft. I've made textures loopable and have had to draw out the loops so that the terrain blends together perfectly.
I asked Scuttles if I could use his leaf block and wood block textures but I have yet to hear back from him. If I don't then I'll need to draw out those textures tonight. They would be a similar style to his just because you can't really get too crazy with leaves in high res, they all tend to look the same for realistic textures.
I released a new texture pack version. I fixed the a few textures so now they look nicer, and redstone and diamond both look more predictable (they look like the other ores but with different colors.
I really need feedback. Working on the 64x pack atm.

(PS. I suggest "The Legend of Minecraft" as the title).
Thank you! I'll add that option to the poll.
LOL where do you find these pictures?? In any case, thanks man I'm glad they have been turning out well so far.

Hahaha a fellow Zelda fan! I hope you tried out the pack. You may want to use it on your server :wink.gif:
Thanks! Glad to hear you like it. Still needs work on a bunch of things, most notable gui tweaks.
I'll probably make a custom font too that makes it so the buttons look and work better (and you can read them).
