I have watched several YouTube videos of installing it and iv done everything right. The problem i have it that johnsmith shows up in the texture pack folder in .minecraft and it shows up when i click the 'open texture pack folder' in the game but it dosnt show up in the 'Mods and Texture Pack' button in the game.
If you know where im coming from can any one help me? im about to explode!
1. It needs to be a .zip file.
2. It has to be the right folder, the one that contains the terrain.png DIRECTLY. What I mean by directly is that it is in that .zip folder, not inside a folder/.zip within that folder.
Um ok im a newbie to computer gaming i whached some videos on YouTube and i thought i did it right do any of you have a good video u could recomend because that help alot
Are you using the HD Patcher? That's probably why the texture pack doesn't show up, because you need to use this patcher for any texture above 16x16 to work properly:
1. It needs to be a .zip file.
2. It has to be the right folder, the one that contains the terrain.png DIRECTLY. What I mean by directly is that it is in that .zip folder, not inside a folder/.zip within that folder.
