Ok first to start off I can run a texturepack that is 32x or smaller, I can also run a 64x but it is way to laggy to play. How do I fix this? I use mcpatcher like they tell me too and it still dosen't work. HELP
If so, it may be just too much for your computer to handle. You may be forced to stick with 32x or 16x sized packs until you can upgrade your hardware.
There may also be ways to increase the amount of RAM and such that Minecraft can make use of, but I'm not too sure how or if such a thing would work.
well, first of all you are not completely doomed. Try this first.
Uninstall the MCpatcher by either deleting the bin folder or forcing an update. Then install the Optimine/optifog mods. This can greatly improve the performance of minecraft. If that doesn't help than the above guys are right and you need better hardware.
