It is compatible 1.2.5. Though it looks like you may have gotten your developmental stages mixed up; Minecraft is no longer in Beta, and no, this texture pack isn't fully compatible with 1.3, there're no textures for the new blocks and items, so the new items will be invisible and the new blocks will be pink. Then again, judging by your signature I don't think you'd mind pink blocks.
Alrighty thanks lol. I don't mind the blocks at all. I think the pink and blue wool colors are really great. I just wish there were more style of purple for some better projects.
MLP:FIM - Most moronic, idiotic, retarded fad ever
SeaNanners - Has dull, unfunny commentaries that have him rambling on about the game even though he is clueless on it. Kind of like Yogscast.
I can't duplicate whatever problem you're having. I checked the file settings, and they are public. I tried pulling up the download page in two different browsers and had no issues. Without knowing more about what's wrong, there's nothing else I can think of to fix it. Try again.
Is there a way to get the paintings to override the paintings that overrode them from the r3d.craft 3d realism texture pack? I tried putting the files in the jar but the r3d.craft ones keep taking over. I like paintings, but I like my paintings with ponies in them.
Edit: Never mind, figured it out. Forgot to delete kz from art when I put it in.
I decided to play with the snapshot a bit today, so I slapped together a version of the pack for it. I will not be making a paintings only version for the snapshot, and will not be updating the OP for a snapshot. (That can wait for a full release.)
If you want to play with it a bit, here's a version of the pack compatible with snapshot 12w41a:
Edit: I just encountered my first zombie on the snapshot with this version of the texture pack, and it was a horrible faceless lovecraftian abomination. I will fix it, but I'm not sure when.
Edit 2: Today is Oct 25. 1.4 was released today, and I am slightly disappointed to say that I will not be updating the pack to the new version of minecraft with my usual alacrity. The changes implemented in this update will require a little more in-depth texture fiddling than most of my previous compatibility updates, and I simply don't have the time at the moment. I will try to get to it sometime in a couple of weeks, when all the excitement surrounding halloween dies down a bit and I have more time. The snapshot version I slapped together is missing some key changes that need to be made, so it's rather broken at the moment. The zombie textures aren't mapped properly at all, and the new wither painting will probably show up as a violet square. There may be other additional problems with it that I won't discover until i really comb through it. Anyway, that's all for now. Have fun with the new update.
Hi there! This is a project I've been working on for a couple daysweeks months. This texture pack leaves the default minecraft block textures in place (for now) but replaces the paintings with Pony art! =D
All images were used with the artists' permission. Please check out the included readme file for a full list of their names and which paintings I adapted from their images, as well as other credits and info and stuffs!
Also, feedback and/or constructive criticism is welcome!
You can find all of these artists at deviantart.com.
Obviously the MLP characters belong to hasbro. XD
OMG an update! (08/03/2011)
Applebuck season got you down because you can't buck apples in minecraft? Worry no more! Now you can buck apples to your heart's content! I remade the bread, wheat and crop sprites myself, and they are now 20% cooler! Crops are now apple bushes (because I said so), wheat is now a pile of apples, and bread is now pie. The seeds are the same sprite as the default minecraft texture, I just modified the colors a bit to make them look more like apple seeds. You'll have to pretend apple + cocoa = cookie and apple + sugar + milk + egg = cake until I feel motivated to change those too.
Here's what the apple tree sprites look like, except this image is squished horizontally a touch.
An orchard, woot!
Oh noes I spilled the apples.
Tasty pies, a gift for the ponies, perhaps?
Apple + apple + apple = pie! Who needs flour?
OMG another update! (08/09/2011)
Been itching to teach those mean diamond dogs a lesson? Here's your chance! I've converted the skeleton into Rover, and the zombie into fido. I also made a skin for the creeper but I'm not happy with the way it looks so I didn't implement it, though it is still included in the .zip. If for some reason you fancy playing with a diamond dog skin yourself, all 3 mob skins should be viable player skins as well, due to the way I made them. This is my first attempt at mob skins so feedback is very much welcome, I may change them in the future. See screenshots below.

Update! (08/11/2011)
Added the mare in the moon!
See included readme for artist credits for the image the moon was adapted from.
Update. (08/11/2011)
(note: I only started work on this about 18 hours after the moon update, give or take. So, though it is technically the same day, it's actually kindof the next day, lol.)
Added sun modeled after princess celestia's cutie mark. This image took a little more fiddling than most of the other images that were adapted from artwork, and I'm still a bit unsure of how I feel about the result, I may end up changing this later, but unless I can think of something more fitting than Celestia's cutie mark, I like it enough to include it in the pack. =D See the readme for artist credits.
Update! (09/14/2011):
Updated the pack for 1.8 and added the two ui panels I've completed so far. They are still kinda experimental and may be subject to change in the future, but for now you get a fluttershy themed inventory and a twilight sparkle themed crafting table ui! I will add the other ui textures in the future.
Twilight would be interested in crafting things, right?
Fluttershy inventory:
Applejack Furnace:
Rarity Chest:
Update 11/18/2011:
Updated pack to be compatible with minecraft 1.0.0 and added moon phase textures.
This is an enlarged and thus slightly blurred version of the moon phase texture file.
Update 3/1/2012:
Updated the pack to be compatible with minecraft 1.2.2.
The pies have been set out on the windowsill to cool and as such are no longer steaming hot. No more burnt tongues when you gobble them up!
Added experimental wool textures, these are likely not final and will be subject to change in the future depending on the feedback I get.
Update 03/21/2012:
Found the list I made back when I first made the wool textures. Fixed sources in wool color list.
I seem to have misplaced the list I made when I actually did these textures, but, hazarding a guess
The colours are:
Light Grey: Derpy's coat
Orange: Rainbow Dash's mane/tail
Cyan: Fluttershy's eyes
Magenta: Rainbow Dash's eyes
Purple: Rainbow Dash's mane/tail
Light Blue: Rainbow Dash's coat
Blue: Rarity's eyes
Brown: Applejack's hat
Yellow: Fluttershy's coat
Cactus Green: outline of Spike's spines
Lime Green: Rainbow Dash's mane/tail
Black: Luna's night sky? idk.
Pink: Fluttershy's mane
Red: Rainbow Dash's mane/tail
Dark Grey: Derpy's outline Anyway, providing that my guesses at which parts of which ponies I sampled them from are correct,
These colours are all show accurate, I sampled them directly from accurate colour doodads.
Update 3/14/2012:
Added rainbow dash themed hotkey bar texture, fixed chest and white wool textures.
Update 3/15/2012:
Small hotkey bar texture fix.
Update 08/1/2012:
Updated to be compatible with minecraft 1.3.1
Probably fixed skeleton textures.
All elements of this texture pack were created or adapted from artwork by rhiiazami, excepting the base minecraft textures created by mojang. All pieces of artwork were used with permission from the artists. All relevant credits on my part can be found in the readme file included with the pack. You may take parts of this pack and cut them into a mix pack as much as you like for your own personal use only. You may use textures that were made from scratch exclusively by me as you see fit (for non-commercial purposes) as long as you credit me for the original textures and inform me beforehand so that I may include you in the list below. If you have any doubts as to which textures were made by me and which ones I adapted from artwork, check the included readme file and/or ask me. If you wish to use any of the textures that I adapted from artwork, you must discuss it with me first, obtain my permission, include my readme file with artist credits in your derivative pack, and credit me for the relevant textures. You may freely use this texture pack in videos and livestreams, though I would appreciate it if you give proper credit for the textures if/when you are asked about them. If you wish to do anything with any part of this texture pack that I have not explicitly covered in this license, you must discuss it with me beforehand. If I give permission to anyone to use any part of this texture pack in a derivative work, I will list their names in the section below.

That would be great actually.

1.3.2 was a bug fix patch with no texture changes. Updating the pack to 1.3.2 would amount to me changing the title of this thread, nothing more.
Edit: Never mind, figured it out. Forgot to delete kz from art when I put it in.
