If possible, may I make a suggestion? Have you ever considered retexturing the item hotkey bar?

While grey is the colour of our favourite mailmare's coat I've come to find the current colour scheme rather dull, and given that most of the UI has had a cupcake fuelled overhaul, I (and maybe some others too) feel that this shouldn't be left out.
But don't feel pressured because as you said, you're time is yours to do with as you please (and besides, 1.3 won't be here for a while), and on the topic of the wool, great! The kind Rarity would use in her dresses no doubt!
(But I must ask, did you forget to retexture the white wool or was that intentional?)
I have considered retexturing the item bar, but I haven't been struck by any good ideas yet, you neglected another thing i've said in the past, which is that my texture making depends largely on bursts of inspiration, ideas for what to do with the textures. If you have any ideas for the hotkey bar i would be interested in hearing them. Otherwise, I will think about it and see if any good ideas hit me.
You may not have to wait until 1.3 for another update, I've begun working on an enchanting ui texture, although currently it is slow progress because my original idea doesn't quite fit the shape of the ui panel elements the way i had hoped it would.
I completely forgot about the white wool, thank you for pointing it out. My only excuse for not noticing it myself is that I haven't been messing with sheep much since i updated the pack, i've mostly been running around the nether, the jungle, and building a tower out of cobble and jackolanterns.
Here is an experimental hotkey bar texture. I'm not sure if it's too glaringly bright or if it's fine, but I would love some feedback on it. People have been asking for a rainbow dash theme on something.
Updated the .zip with fixed wool and chest textures and new hotkey bar texture. Please let me know what you think of the hotkey bar texture, I'm still a bit uncertain about it.

I'm a brony but i have to admit i agree 100% about Seananners and the Yogscast.
The bar itself looks fine, the marker of which item you selected however is too hidden due being the same color. Maybe change that a bit? Like marking a corner with the cutie mark of RD?
I noticed that too after playing with the texture on for a bit, glad I wasn't the only one, I added a ring around the selected item marker, 1 pixel wide, the colour of RD's eyes, at 70% opacity. Thank you for pointing it out.
UberHaxorNova used this in the early on Ex communicated series, and since it seems MC4kids is bugged up the ass, this small scale one will do. amazing work
Is there any way you could make a customizer? I prefer the original wool, but would love to have the Apples for wheat. I can fix this myself, but I know some people can't. Just a request to think about.

Unlikely. I'm not ready for the time commitment involved in making a proper customizer. I do appreciate your feedback on the wool though. You're one of relatively few to anything specific about them, and as I said they are experimental. I made them on a whim and remain uncertain about them. If hear about more people disliking them I may remove them in future updates.
Excuse me, the only download I see here says "paintings only". I have read over the main post three times, and have yet to find any download that has everything that has been made. However, I ALSO see people talking about watching the new mob textures, but obviously they are not paintings. Somepony help me.
