I love coming here to browse around for new texture packs, I've seen some amazing art here. But finding too many solid colour blocks is a bit disappointing to say the least. :sad.gif:
Being a clean pack doesn't necessarily make things easy on the eyes either. Smooth doesn't automatically equal harmonious.
Exactly, some of the most balanced textures I have ever seen are not clean or smooth in anyway.

I really like adfly. It makes it really easy to keep my texture pack updated with only one link.
Also, a few extra cents added to my paypal each month isn't a bad thing either. :biggrin.gif:
My own solution to adfy is that you could provide two download links, one without adfly and one with adfly, that people can click on if they want to donate some money to you.
A 512x version of the default with a sharpen filter and an embossed overlay with soft lighting. It actually looks kind of nice. But it only took me 6 mins.

I was making a novelty texture pack. I was about to upload it until I got distracted by the lulz in this thread.
