Look. I know that some of you really like clean texture packs, but we don't need anymore. Im sorry, but I really cant stand seeing 1x texture packs, even though there are about forty. If you are going to make clean texture packs, atleast get a little creative. Now, Im seeing more and more texture packs, like "Clean Craft" and less and less of texture pack such as Jolicraft. I'd really enjoy more original texture packs. No offence to any people who make clean texture packs, but theres already enough.

Look at that...I'm 100% sure all he did was apply a gaussian blur to the terrain.png. If people aren't even going to put a single ounce of effort into their packs, we shouldn't put a single ounce of effort into helping them. :sleep.gif:
If they're purposely doing it, they need to be banned immediately. But wait, that's right, the forum staff won't do anything! This situation isn't going to be taken care of anytime soon, unless they get more staff that are actually active and dedicated to cleaning up the forums.
guys, this thread SHOULD have died ages ago. Steelfeathers stated this. So let it die and get back to something useful. We have had our *****, and our fun. Go hunt down some good packs and critique them, this conversation needs to be over as its not doing anything but clogging up space now.

I think good texturepacks are drowned/buried/lost because of the bad/non-original/joke ones...
i agree there too many smooth or clean textures out there (i havent made one yet).
but maby its because they are just starting out and people start out nice and easy or just go to the hard stuff so in time people wil evolve from smooth and clean texture packs and become better ones like dokucraft
Now, my computer is pretty old, and running 32x packs makes my game lag too bad. But when I look for a 16x pack now, they are all the same. I don't mind using Simplecraft or CleanCraft, but when I look for something new, that's all I find...
