Hey.Im JamieLow as you already know but i am currently trying to make a texture pack. Its going well,but i have 3 problems. ONe:The Wooden Planks,Theses wooden planks i have made stick out from the rest of the pack,they are much higher detail than anythingg else,what shoudl i do with these? They took me a while so i dont want to waste them,should i save them for another time or do a higher detail pack? planks:
two:Cobblestone,i have the same problem with my cobble,should i move this to a more high detail pack?

it reminds me of clean design, replace the simplest textures with higher detail ones like the wood and cobble, love the pack.
It is meant to be a clean design one. I may release it on the forums later. And are you saying that i shoudl change grass etc. to make it correspond with my cobble and planks,or simply put more detail into them. Thank oyu.

maybe change stone to plain, cause u might get confused with coal
Well,for my coal i was planning on doing an absolute black with some light on it (light grey or white) so im not sure that I would get confused. But well see.

Oh whoops,forgot to mention this but i am also looking for someone to help iwht name/banner or somethign when its released. Currently its called deckpack cos that makes it high up on my texture packs folder XD

yes you should try and make a more detailed pack, the second image is the good start for a cobble texture, it needs alot of refining but i will stand and say that there is toooooo many smooth packs on this forum and that detailed packs hold alot more heart in them as they take time to make.

Tahnk you and i decided i shall. What im going to do is finish the smooth one that im doing now,then move onto the high detailed one and people will download them both simlutaeniously (is that spelt right?). Then they can have both of them. The smooth cutesie where i planned to make cows unicorns and the darker high detail one where cows will be four-legged demon cows(Probably not this acutally :3)
