I have been wanting to make a texture pack for a long time, but, I never knew what the theme would be and I cant come up with one that someone has already done. This will be my first texture pack. So what im asking is for you guys to make suggestions on what my texture pack should be themed on, and any resolution of 64, 32, or 16. Thanks
Choose any old school Mac or PC game that had a distinct texture style and make a MC version. Bungie's Marathon, or ID's Doom, etc. It's easy, fun, and a great starting project.
Okay, I'm going to be totally honest, so sorry if this offends, it's only meant to inform.
I think, that if you really wanted to make a texture pack, you would already be inspired, you would know what you would want to design. I always find that the best way to do something is to find a way to want to do it.
And, really, with the huge variety of texture packs already available, making one that your heart isn't in, will probably just be met with offensive criticism.
So again, sorry if you find this offensive.

Sounds good but I have never played Doom and I dont know what Bungie's Marathon is. Call me crazy.
