Windows:
Make sure your Game is clean, by running the new Minecraft Launcher and go to options and press force update (all mods will be gone) Do not unzip the texture pack! Move RedYoshi HD into your texturepacks folder (you can get there by entering %appdata%/.minecraft/texturepacks into the Windows XP Search bar or %appdata%/roaming/.minecraft/texturepacks in Win7)
Download and run the latest HD Texture fix by Xau and Kahr You may uncheck "HD Font" but leave the rest as it is (if you get a black screen when loading Minecraft try changing the HD Textures Settings in the Options Tab) Click Patch Once its done close the Patcher and run Minecraft normally. Select RedYoshi HD in the Mods and Textures List in the Main Menu
Mac and Linux:
Be sure to download the Correct Version of the HD Texture fix by Xau and Kahr for your OS. Everything else should be the same as in Windows above, except that the texturepacks folder is located somewhere else.
In Mac OS X it is from your homefolder in /Library/Application Support/minecraft
It also has great pictures for those who want a preview. I will work on a compilation picture of all the textures soon.
Let me know if the link does not work. I have never shared one of my packs before with the general public.
I plan on updating the wool textures once I find an idea that I like for them.
CHANGES: to v1.1 from Sn0wStorm v2.3
Added maps, pistons, shrubs, clippers, tumbleweeds, trapdoor texture
Adjusted dirt to be less dark
Changed top texture on explosives (thanks to KayneCraft1.7x128)
Changed mossy stone to be a mossy version of cobblestone, this makes mossy much easier to distinguish from gravel
Added a 3x3 grid to the top of workbenches without losing the texture.
adjusted cacti to have spines and fixed an overlap of the textures.
Added a creeper face coloring to Nether's Slowsand to distinguish it from dirt
Fixed beds to display correctly
Thanks to KayneCraft also for the piston outline that I used to create a realistic piston.
Please list any changes you would like to see and I will work on implementing them.
Hope you all enjoy this re-release of my favorite HD pack.
