Yet another simple pack. I understand it's to make redstone "easier" and better to work with, but seriously put atleast a LITTLE effort into it. Your not even trying to make it good, no offense honestly.
Looks like no new blocks for 1.1, so No update needed, right?
If I could ask a favor, could you do a texturepack next time you update with obsidian done as normal, but with a border added like the wool blocks so the edges are more visible? It's tough to tell from black wool, but different enough that it should look distinctive.

Twitch or nothing? It was nice. Isn't anything going forward.
This looks identical to the default texture pack. Wut?
I made it precisely the way it is because it is specifically made for redstone. I wanted all the normal textures (e.g. wood, cobblestone, doors, etc.) to remain the same so that an individual could use this pack in SP or SMP and see the normal everyday textures, but then see redstone systems in a more organized and clear manner.

It is simple, thanks for that Sherlock. If you don't like it then don't download it. Tough concept, right? I put a solid four hours into this so that similar textures would not appear similar, but, obviously, obsidian and black wool escaped my eyes. No offense.

I was thinking about doing that, but with a purplish-border, similar to the color used in the texture already. Otherwise, I would make it solid black.
Updated OP. Will the 1.2.3 version also work for 1.2? As far as I'm aware, there were no new blocks or any significant changes, aside from bug fixes, added in 1.2.3 from 1.2.
I suggest you remove yourself if you don't like it. I'd say "haters gon hate," but I'm not a flaming douche like those people that put unicorns as their profile picture thinking that they're cool enough to go around to random forums and make small, insignificant, and flustering posts about something they clearly haven't downloaded, nor do they take time to think about why the textures are so simple.
I made it the way it is because that is the product I want to put out to the community, and it represents my strong interest in redstone.
SO MUCH LOVE FOR YOU!! I ****ing love this texturepack. Ive been looking for THIS for ages, its perfect! Thanks alot, and please, please keep it up to date!!
i would like to ask if u maybe could to this texture pack and only changing redstone wires and torches but then u leave the rest as it originally was.
Maybe when I get home; I have to leave soon. If I do, I'll bump this and add the new section to the OP with that quote at the top (of the new section).
The whole point of a texture pack is that it adds something descent to the game, not just to stand out one object of the game. if i wanted to see the redstone better i would turn everything else white

In which case, the white wool works very well for distinguishing between the phases of redstone based on their distance from a power source. In other words, it's easy to tell when the line is about to lose power. Also, what's the "purpose" of anything? We all have free will, and I'm just making another option for the communities redsstone-fanatics. Now go complain about the OCD texure pack.
Ahem. I'm working on the texture pack for 1.3 right now, and it should work for both the official release and the pre-release. I just got a new laptop, so it's gonna take a little longer
Can you use Dropbox to host the files? The host you're using now is terrible, it requires the user to type in a re-captcha (the worst kind of captcha) and then wait 30 seconds, and then I get a "This webpage is not available" from Chrome, so I can't actually download the file. X(
Not to sound line a broken record, but (Sounds just like a broken record) Are you planning on a 1.4.2 update? For this really awesome texture pack? Which would be even more so in 32x32? But still pretty awesome 16X16?

I noticed, and I haven't a fathom why it broke. I'll update it with the new pack that I'm making today.
