Most of these painting I don't know what to fill with. Feel free to work in anything you desire. If you'd like to change something on the list I wouldn't mind, but I would appreciate it if you could inform me of what it is.
I'll see what I can do, I might just make separate sets for all of them so that you/ and other people can pick and choose what you like for example a tv set or a poster/advertising set. I am actually working on a set right now that has items on shelves (bottles, books etc). Thanks for the suggestions :smile.gif:
yeah, I like that idea. The ability of picking and choosing between art and shelves and TVs and ads all that sounds amazing. I tried working on the map of the mall and I ruined it so terribly >.< because its hard to work in such a small area, but I'm excited for your next texture pack, really looking forward to it. Btw something cool I seen if you wanna try something with it, the pumpkins can be TVs that are off, and the Jack O' Lanterns are TVs turned on. The cool thing with this is it adds lighting to the room as well as aesthetics.
Also another suggestion you should have all the adds be minecraft related. Like "Cobble Stone Cook Out", "Timberland Tavern", "Brick House BBQ", "Catacomb Canteen", and "Obsidian Out House". These are all chain food restraints in my map but I believe to be pretty reasonable suggestions for advertisement signs. Or maybe even like a diamond sword with big letters saying "NEW". I dont know what else you could have but I would LOVE to see a billboard piece that uses both of the 4x3 signs side by side to show the whole picture! I think that'd be unique. But of course these are only suggestions.
I suggest you have a infiniminer reference with your poster pack. and as for your new pack it looks nice, but to be honest i don't care for the shelves, i mean they just don't look like "minecraft styled" shelves also the proportions are a little big for my taste, take some inspiration from the book case when making a shelf make it look full of objects and packed with pointless potions and bags, with books crammed in there as well. But this doesn't mean they are bad at all! they're actually quick nice, but for use in minecraft the bags are practically the size of a person, i mean did you hide a body in them? >.< I like the work of them though they all look good, and a nice feel for a texture pack, as usual you've done better art then the work done by notch. nice job Annuh, cant wait to use your full texture pack but what will you have for the art you've already got so many great choices!

I'll try my best to improve on the next texture pack. I am new to this modding community, I have never done textures for Minecraft before, I actually use to make skins for the Sims 2 so textures were much larger, when I looked at the ones for Minecraft they were so TINY XD. So its a learning process for me. Thanks for the feedback :smile.gif:
im just trying to give honest and productive feedback for your texture packs, and i understand how the transformation from sims graphics to minecraft could get to be a bit... pixelated, for lack of a better word. something i would highly suggest is to look at 16 bit games from the past and see how they represent small details for instance, mario as jump man in the arcade donkey kong, has a mustache. you can see only like 2 black pixels but everyone understood what it was. it's the little things. although you do understand you can change the bits right? all you have to do is change the size of the .png file to something else. for instance from 16 bits to 36. i personally believe its hard to do it in 16 bits but it does make it look more minecraft-ish. So i think it requires more skill then most sizes and it looks better even if better to me is not as realistic.
Wow! These paintings are all really good! I wasn't expecting to find quality work when I clicked on this link, but now I find myself pleasantly surprised. Way to go!
PS: The enderman one is my favorite. The composition is perfect, and the background makes it moody and creepy without resorting to black-on-black.
