ok first of all I am very new to the minecraft forums so I do not know a lot. Anyways I am starting a texture pack. I do not have a set theme for this pack so it may change in further updates also I will put pictures. As of right now i am going for a 16 bit steampunk pack it may not be great because this is my first texturepack but any tips and ideas will be welcome.
I think some sort of 'window' to the inside of certain things (furnace, workbench, etc.) with cogs and pipes being visible would be a good idea.
The Glimmar Steampunk Pack would be a good place to get inspiration, although that is designed for a mod that adds extra things (phosphorescent light, upgraded furnaces, etc.)
You could make a crayon themed texture pack. Like have the colors really hard based and have scribbles and such to make it seem like it was done in crayon?

Yes I was thinking the same thing and I love glimmars
