Introducing the zombie. Demonized by modern cinematography, the zombie was once an upstanding and productive member of society. Unable to find a job or receive federal aid due to outright prejudice, the once noble zombie was driven to feast upon human flesh in order to survive. Even though society has become much more egalitarian since this terrible time, zombies continue to munch people. Turns out, they like the taste.

Thank you! I was going for hillbilly zombie but it ended up more as mechanic zombie. I'll have to put him in something other than overalls at some point, cause I'm not 100% with that look, but I feel like I nailed the rest. And by the rest I mean the head.
The lesser known ents, these small tree creatures are born as adorable little sprouts. Nurtured over the course of a decade, this little twig will grow into a shrub, which will uproot and eventually go on to pollinate a new seed. These ents are notoriously religious, holding the deity Kaboom in high regard. This does not normally pose a problem, but a conservative minority does interpret the teachings of Kaboom in a literal manner, and sends its newly mobile children off to training camp to learn how to deal with heathens. Invariably, the camp is located wherever you happen to be. Chances are, you know the rest.

Hmmm....I like the idea behind it, but it just kinda looks muddy at the moment. And what's with the splotch of red? Is is exposed viscera or something?

That's the burning rage in its heart.
Or tnt hidden behind the leaves. Whatever works for you.
What are you thinking, less tree trunk, more leaves?
Wow, mobs look very nice! I really love the zombie, though I think he's just using me for my flesh..
I also like the skeleton but I wish he had more shadowing/contrast. Though darkening him will scare me even more if I wasn't expecting it.
I don't really care for the creeper based on the picture. I am debating with myself whether or not I like the red though. I like it because it has meaning, but dislike it because a creeper was designed to blend in and startle you.

Overall, I'd give it 2 thumbs up
You can consider all the mobs as a first draft right now. I've never done them before, so they're out there so that I can get some input.
Skeleton shading is a pain cause of its little twig arms. Its taking some getting used to. However, I'm pleased with the shape.

What's the issue with the creeper?
I understand about the skeletons. You don't have much space to begin with so detailing can be a pain. I do like yours better than the default though. I took another look at it before posting and like it a lot better than I did when I last posted.
As for the creepers. They look a little too muddy to me (As stated before). I do like the mouth but I feel it could be a little bit more defined
(If you can't you can't. I get picky because I look at an object in minecraft and think "That's gotta be at least 200px wide" when really it's 16px re-sized. It's kinda one of those things where you don't realize how tricky it is until you're the one behind the wheel.)
Really, anything you do with the mobs is still going to freak me out when I hear a "twang" or "Tsss" etc.

Retired StaffSingle player commands, maybe? Use the /spawn command to get them during the day.

Curse PremiumThanks! This will do nicely. Not much chance for closeups though, unless I want to risk my pretty face.
How's the rain?

Curse PremiumNo, that's not bad at all. It's just getting revved up here. I expect to sleep like a baby.
I love the rain.

Retired StaffIf you want it to look tree-like, I'm thinking more trunk and less leaves.

Curse PremiumI find myself wishing that all mobs, monsters, and players had multiple layers of skinning.
I'll see what I can do, but it seems like that would make it look more muddy.

Curse PremiumYes, pigs are pure evil too.

Hey, good news. Bows will be held correctly in 1.8. I can't wait, because I just can't take skellies seriously like this.
