Aight people, here's the deal: I'm thinking about combining the packs into one, thanks largely to the mcpatchers ctm addition (so much fun). What do you prefer, the traditional plain cloth textures or the fancy patterns in the architecture pack? Or, is it important to keep both?
@Kabonos The wool textures in the normal pack are great for alot of buildings. I use both texture packs and I really don't see myself using the architectural pack to much because I use white wool in my buildings ( goes good with the pine for medieval homes ) Great texture pack all around though! I do like the Au Naturel pack's ores ( I don't like the roundness or black lines. The outline just really throws me out of Minecraft experience ) but the architectural pack's pumpkins are really good!

For the Emerald Block...I really don't know...Shiny version of Iron Block maybe and a Lighter Lime green color
Just suggestions
Stone is one of the things I'm using ctm for now. No more grid pattern, but the edges are still around. This way, it can be used in construction easily, but caves don't look dumb. However, I'm not sure if I want to do that for the ores. I'm thinking I'll combine Au Naturel and Adventure, and continue to leave Architecture separate. This means, though, that I'll need some fresh patterns to replace the old colored wood wools.
Also, concerning emerald ore: you *******, now I've got to redo it.
Things currently using ctm: stone, all woods, grass, dirt, gravel, cobble, chiseled sandstone, glass
Things that will use ctm: all logs, bookshelves, sand, snow, other things
Edit: And by current I mean stuff I'm playing with and you can't see. Muahahahaha

To replace the colored wood I don't know and XP on emerald ore sorry your stuff is amazing though. In a customizer can you please leave the option for the Au naturel stone? I just really like it without edges but it is good with or without just my preference i guess...
I saw that the emeralds aren't appearing the item form. I was wondering what you had planned for those and I have been using r20 in the pre release everything looks good.
I will try making some stuff for the mobs. Any pointers like what you want them to look like?

Yeah, I dropped the emeralds in for the next release. I had updated the items.png, but forgot to put it in the pack. Nothing special there yet, though. I'm working on finishing up the trading window and sending out an update, but I've been distracted lately with my showcase map and just now installing mountain lion (totally awesome). In fact, I haven't even put minecraft back on this machine yet.
Trots off to do exactly that....
As for mobs and monsters, a medieval feel would be just fine. I only use limited pixel art in my pack, so don't feel pressured to either.

You're gonna love the hieroglyphs. I'm not too thrilled with cobble atm though, so that may go till later.
At any rate, I shall update today.

Curse PremiumWorking on the ideas jotting down simple notes on the mobs. Is it okay to redo the ones you already did?? Of course everything is up to you.
