Greetings fellow miners! Today I have come to show off a texture pack I have had in the works since nearly the Halloween update, SaviorCat's Simple Pack! SCSP is a complete texture overhaul of just about everything I could get my paws on, blocks, monsters, you name it, I redid it!
Currently: Both types of Spider and the Enderman seem to have some slight bugs with their textures. I am assuming it is because of the pre-release 1.8. Ialso, I am not going to update the dark version of SCSP until much later.

[b]2.[/b] Open the .zip using an appropriate program
[b]3.[/b] Place the texture packs inside the .zip
into your Minecraft Texture Pack Folder
[b]4.[/b] Select a Texture Pack and Enjoy!
Optional Instructions for custom water, lava, portals and fire:

[b]5.[/b] Run the HD Texture Fix.

Diamond has a new color, I just don't have a SS for it.

If I get enough downloads I may look into making mods SCSP compatible.
I am finishing paintings as we speak. Also, I just read the recent 1.8 update with bosses and such, I am for sure going to put it up some time this weekend. There is going to be a lot more to re texture when the patch goes live. I'd do it tonight, I am just really nit picky in making sure everything is exactly how I want it to be.
The Packs Great! but just to say,The lava still looks like Juice but still good Job!
Yeah, the lava and water look awful in the pictures. I am okay with them in game though. In the future I plan to give them some sort of simple, moving texture. The first few attempts at it looked terribad.
I made a change to the download link, I derped and forgot to log in to megaupload when I put up the file. Nothing is change in the files, just fixed the link.
Hey everyone! I've got a new pack in the works, slightly more realistic than my first two. Shooting for an RPG style, will bump with screens when the time is right.
It is actually awesome :smile.gif:. However can you remove the border on the grass please :smile.gif:
Actually, I have a border-less blocks version in the works, for the Light version at least. I wasn't sure if I'd actually use it or not, but if people would like a border-less version of both packs I'd be happy to do so. I am not sure when I'd get around to it though as I am currently trying to put focus on my 32x32 pack.
Update! While fishing today, I noticed that the fishing rod changes when you cast. It didn't have an image associated with it in my pack so it just disappeared, problem fixed along with some minor tweaks to a few things. There is an updated pack up for download.
A few more pictures are going up shortly. A better Creatures picture and Armor.
