nope, not dead. Just needed to take a minecraft texturing break
Please see OP's version history to see whats been added. In a nut shell, the terrain and items have been changed around a lot. Not to mention, the signature has been changed, so anyone with an old sig, feel free to update!

I also have a request if any one is interested. I really don't have too much time to take in game screenshots, also, my worlds were recently all lost, so, I don't have anything interesting to screencap either. I would LOVE to have some screeners of anything really. I'll make an album on imgur and use it as my main source for screenshots. I'll throw some cred your way on the OP as well should you contribute. thanks!

well... i've decided to redo the armors. i know i know... i keep redoing and redoing, but as i refine things, little nuances and congruency issues pop up. so, with that said... you can expect some new armors in the next update. i'll keep a copy of the old ones in the pack though, in case some people prefer it. also, each armor will be the same in style, but just different material/ colors. i'm kind of tired of having EVERYTHING unique. besides, makes updating way easier for me

I wasn't suggesting that it was to fast exactly. I just noticed that compared to the normal water the flowing water seems too different. Like they don't seamlessly connect. It may just be that the actual texture is just too bright and needs to be a bit more subtle?
It isn't that I hate it or anything, it was just to me it seems to conflict with the rest of the texture pack. Or it could just be me.... lol

last update for awhile - i wanted to get my new armors done before the holidays. so, here's the new armors and 2 things changed in the terrain: the wood block and the stone slab.
I uh.... really don't know a nice way to say this. So I'll just say it, I'm glad you kept the old armors in the folder as an option. I'm not digging those new armors much at all.
I mean, its not like they're bad. I just don't think it's a good idea to go from several distinct armors with their own look and feel, to what is essentially, just the same armor four times, palette swapped. I mean if you keep that armor as, say, the diamond armor, that'd be fine, looks perfect for something as outlandish as diamond armor.

nah dude, i dont take honest opinions as being an ass. im used to a lot of criticism from my art college days, it's only said to better the person anyways. so, thanks dude. maybe i'll swap them back and use the new ones as the secondary ones.
Degraph, have you looked at the new features MCPatcher has added? There is the ability to modify the biome coloring ie: swamp water etc. Misa's Realistic texture pack already has some great new stuff.
