so why make a black and white texture packs, short of the obvious so i can play in back and white, idt many people would want to play in black and white. maybe for making miecraft videos, using it as an effect for a short period

You're going to struggle with Redstone, I think, since the colour is coded for that.

Water/Lava can be fixed with the HD texture patcher, and I assume you know how to fix the biome leaves, since you did it with grass.

Seems like an interesting pack, even if it's not all that useful.
