I never like using some pre-made texture pack. I like to take a bunch of texture packs and put everything I like in them into one custom texture pack. Now I found an HD texture with some things I want. But obviously the resolution of the HD and Non-HD PNG files are different. Resizing either image will distort the sprites. How can I merge the texture packs? Is there a tool that can help me merge the texture packs? Is there a 32x32 version of the default texture pack? Thanks for any help.
Have a look at Faithful 32x32. It's a reproduction of the default in 32x resolution.
Also check out minecraftcustomizer.net. If the packs you want are on there, it will allow you to mix and match between them.
The Faithful texture pack wasn't exactly what I wanted, I was hoping someone made the default texture pack 32x32 without enhanced graphics. I wanted to keep the low 16x16 style graphics while being able to paste in 32x32 HD textures. The faithful texture pack isn't the exact 32x32 replica I wanted. As for minecraftcustomizer.net, it didn't have either of the packs I currently use in my custom texture pack: Precisely Portalcraft and Sharp Texture Pack. I was hoping to merge these with a few textures from John Smith 32x32 Texture pack. Thanks anyway for the help though.
