The modern day texture pack for the Minecrafters looking to have a more present-day feel to the game.
Hi, my Minecraft name is MLBKing, and after playing this game a good 6 months, I decided to make my own texture pack. I wanted the texture pack to feel more as if it was taking place in the year 2011, thus making the textures more modern. I didn't want to venture too far away from the feel of Minecraft, so my changes have been only changing blocks appearences slightly as not to confuse you. I am 14, and I spent a good 6 hours alone just on the block textures. I plan on doing everything including items, mobs, ect. But i wanted to give out the terrain.png so you can tell me how well i did and what i need to fix. I am open to ANY and ALL suggestions you may have. If you really like what i have done, please donate. It would really help me out. Enough talk though, onto the texture pack!!! :biggrin.gif:
Here are some changes:
Chests and crafting bench = cabinets
Torch = light bulb
Slow sand = caution tape
Red Mushrooms = poison ivy
Brown muchrooms = weeds
Bookshelf = Xbox 360 and PS3 games
Just download it and check it out, it'll make more sense that way.
You upload it to any image uploading side and put it like this: [.img]*link*[./img] without the periods
On sites like tinypic there should already be a forum link after you upload it
edit: I see you fixed it, but you should still do the img code before and after the image
