Hello, im currently making a new Texture Pack! i dont know what i will call it... But its coming soon!
it will have its mediafire link for all updates im planning to update until i am completely satisfied please leave request for some of the things im doing! heres the link for screenshots
First I would like to say GO FOR IT :biggrin.gif: Second off Good luck with your pack!
Also some tips I would like to say.
1. Don't be afraid to use layers.
2. Make sure you use something with transparencey Support(Like gimp photoshop paint.net Ect Anything really that isn't MS paint lol.
3. Have fun!
I'm currently in progress of my own pack I just wanted to encurage you to start your own because to me its enjoyable!
Also note Don't use extreamly bright colours Try and dim down things And I suggest making your own custom noise. But you could use noise filter I just personaly don't like it much.

Yes just erase the armor parts or anything you don't want to show completely and there is already a built in layer for transparency! in the minecraft .png files for everything! its the strange looking layer just make sure you have something supporting transparency! Good luck! And hope this helped!
Hey zygen thanks so much for the support! im using paint.net and ill be sure to use your tips.i just finished the mobs! hehe i mad them have 'special needs' the pack will be out soon and too answer your question terrafreeze yes you can. I still have the artwork armor and terrain.png left to do but it will be done soon

There is a bunch of other things You can do I'm sure you can also look at other threads and see others tips(There was a thread that had a bunch of tips about this stuff but I Can't remember where :ohmy.gif:.)
I've got some more tips for you btw. When you make a new texture I recommend just taking the whole texture your editing and making it black then adding colours and details and stuff like that.

Oh yeah, don't forget the textures need to tile well which means it won't look odd or weird do I have a group of lets say stone if you have a HUGE dark spot in the middle. Right? So don't put out of place marks anywhere. Unless you draw more of them. Also don't forget to blend in the colours.

Are you going for any kind of theme or anything? Like a simple pack a Space theme? something in preticular?

well i think i finished this pack i will be updating i think it came out good... zygen i would like to add a like to the download for u guys but i put it in and it says the internet has a problem when i click it any help?

Edit. I would also recommend some screenies of the pack other then just the pig.
i alrdy have the oher screenies on the forum page where the link 2 download is
You gotta have the screenies show up on the forum post like the pig is on this post. otherwise people won't dl it.
