Greetings everyone. Its your ol buddy Typo91!!!
I have been pretty busy lately, but in my free time a bunch of friends and I have been playing this AWESOME mod called "Industrial Craft" with a few other compatible mods like "Buildcraft".
Anyways, so I really dont think 16x16 gives Industrial craft justice. So early on, like 6months ago, someone in our group found a warbaque's 64x64 WIP texture pack for Industrial craft.
So I went and spent about 6 hours straight making my own 64x64 textures for Industrial Craft. You must download warbaque's texture pack to complete the package.
I am going to post first an image detailing the original work done by warbaque which I believe is the BEST 64x64 textures of the machines in Industrial Craft ever released to date.
Now I will post an image detailing the work I produced, covering the majority of the rest of the Industrial Craft Sprites.
Now there are a LOT of Great texture packs out here for the REST of the textures we use a custom compilation of textures.
I know for sure we have LB Photo Realism 5.3.5 and then half of that is mixed with Sorax or something like that.
here is some screen shots
I will consider posting our mixed file if i get some requests for it without flames.
As far as I know Warbaque doesn't plan on overwriting any of the textures I made, so you can just combine the two in your /IndustrialSprites folder in your minecraft.jar file
I really hope you guys enjoy it as much as I do.
Now I know who made the machines and he did not like my added texture pack, or me including his files... He called my texture pack just a "random mash up"... the two packs are separate, so if you want the machines you will have to download BOTH and combine the two yourself.
Also we have a professional server host in a datacenter in Dallas TX. PM Brickedkeyboard for access. There is an installer and standalone client of minecraft that will not affect your current install of the game. We currently have the lastest version of IC, Buildcraft, Minecraft, Planes, and some other things as of 17-Jul-2011.
The server is a Sandy-Bridge based Xeon so it handles IC quite well.
Wow, typo91. once I saw your videos on your gigantic minecraft world on youtube. I **** bricks, thats really what inspired me to start playing. Just to see someone make all of that by himself.. amazing. Its a shame though you didn't show more of that tree. :smile.gif:

i updated the RE-Batteries to look ATLOT better... i also included some optional batteries if you feel like renaming the files and prefer green, or multicolored charged lights.
I like these better.
enjoy!
(its already updated in the FIRST download file)
I didn't mean to offend in anyway. I have been working 12h a night for last 16 days, am still a bit tired and propably was too blunt.
There's nothing wrong with your textures. Personally I just don't like "photorealistic" textures nor do they fit into aesthetics of the MineCraft. But as I said, that's only my opinion.
I think you're being a ****. You're doubling the work everyone has to do, and worse you're not offering an alternative. You're saying that SOMEDAY you might actually offer a complete texture pack and until then you just want people to stick with the shitty default textures.
Well, even if some of these 'realistic' items don't fit your style, they look a heck of a lot better than the 16x16s that come with industrialcraft.
