Alright, I darkened the gold ore and touched up a few other textures. I'm still thinking of what I should make for alternatives. I could really use your help on this everyone.
I really like the way that the pack is coming along, but the gold and iron ores still really bug me. They look like the smudge tool was just stroked across them (sorry for my complete honesty).
I love your dirt texture, but the snow seems a little too blaring white. Maybe darken it a little.
TNT looks like wood? Very annoying. I always think that it's a wood plank.
And, last-but-not-least, I believe that your glowstone and sould sand textures are from other texture packs. I don't know whether or not you have permission to use them, I'm just letting you know.
Anyways, great job on the texturepack, and I look forward to the next version!
P.S. The mushroom textures are better than any other mushroom textures that I've seen!

Gold and iron ores may still be changed. I will try to make the TNT texture more recognizable. Glowstone is Mixcraft's but I only took a hue map and changed the saturation on it. The texture still might be changed. I had permission for the soul sand texture.
Now here's the good news and the bad news.
Good:
I have came up with a few alternative textures and will do my best to add a customizer. The back is still going to change much. The pack will also be compatible with the 1.8 update as I've already made textures for them so you can expect a quick release for 1.8.
Bad:
The computer I work on for my textures keeps crashing. I'm almost sure this may actually be because of Minecraft. So until I can fix that, all work on my pack will be at a complete halt.
I have the new version available, but unfortunately I am having problems updating it because WinRAR is acting up on me and constantly says access is denied. I am working on fixing it currently.
Anyway here are the changes:
1: Touched up all three saplings.
2: Removed the muntin for the glass tile.
3: Touched up netherrack.
4: Fixed items.
5: Darkened the fern.
Still to come:
New gold ore.
New iron ore.
New glow stone. ( I'm still considering this.)
Tell me what else needs to be done please. It's much appreciated.
Suggestion on glass:
While it doesn't look that great with the design on it, it looks just as bad without. I would suggest a design, but one that leaves 80% of the glass transparent, maybe something reminiscent of the old Gerudoku and Doku packs. Just a suggestion.

I'll look into it. And I might be able to do it right now because I'm working on updating it for 1.8! So far brick cobble, cracked brick cobble, mossy brick cobble, chicken, cooked chicken, arrow, bow positions 1,2, and 3. I'm still trying to figure out what most items and blocks are, so it's going to be difficult to make a texture for something I don't know what it is. I'm expecting to give the 1.8 release tommorow, if not not late today if I find out what these textures are.
About 14 textures to go. I still need to know what most of these textures are and what they mean so I can create a new one.
-Giant Mushroom
-Brown
-Red
-Giant Mushroom Stem
-Brown stem
-Red stem
And now about 7 other textures. They are what appear to be cracks? Something above the redstone wire texture, two seed types? One I assume is watermelon seeds, perhaps the other is pumpkin seeds, and vines? Lastly, what I think is zombie flesh. Once I know what they are, I will be able to make the correct textures.

Enjoy playing Minecraft. :smile.gif:
Really nice textures there, but.... is that furnace from LB photo realisem?
Yes, it is. I have asked for permission and included credits in the pack.

Once I play 1.8 and figure out vine growth, I'll make textures for them. The city boundaries, Notch said they will most likely not be used.
Items:
Redone and re-finished. They should look much better now in-game. I completely fixed transparency bugs.
Find me a design you like and I'll make it.
