i need some help with my texture pack how do i make custom portals and custom fire?

You need to make a series of images like a film strip.

For the portal it should be called custom_portal.png
For the fire you need two files called custom_fire_n_s.png and custom_fire_e_w.png.

how do i get the two fire files?
