I might actually switch your default cobble with cobble-brick, and your alt. cobble for cobble, just to see how I like it, as your cobble is very brick.
And speaking of 1.8 textures, I was so happy to finish mine. And now I have to do *counts on fingers MORE!
I'm taking a break for a while, and am going to take it slow if I decide to actually make it a legit pack. But oh well, in the mean time I will continue to enjoy yours.
ironically the alt cobble will end up taking place of the new stone brick cobble. Which is fine because I like them both a lot.
It's an alt cobble right now because I wanted to give people a chance to play with it. :biggrin.gif: But yes, it will become the stone brick when 1.8 arrives monday (hopefully).

Lol, wut? I think you got a word mixed up in there... :biggrin.gif:
Melon farm!
Natural pumpkins, sunflowers, and alternate non-pipe iron coming soon!

How are all of your packs so incredible!? Seriously, this pack is equally as awesome as Lost Valley. You have a knack for this stuff. Those new pumpkins look very good by the way. The vines/leaves are a nice touch.
Just wondering, are you an artist in real life like Glimmar?

Am I a real life artist? Yes. Or I couldn't do this stuff. :biggrin.gif:
Do I make art for a living? No. I'm a mechanical engineer. XD
PS: Btw, did you see the 1.8 melon a page back? (and the other 1.8 stuff on page 83+)?
-Some epic pumpkins were removed to save space! D:-
EDIT: Any clue why the colors look so different in-game? 0_o
Wow, you've come a long way since "Does this look Victorian?" or whatever the title used to be (I happen to have a terrible memory, so I couldn't remember the rest XD)
I think the pumpkins just need a little bit more contrast in the colors, that's probably why they look so different among all the other blocks. (Don't take this personally! I know the feeling of drawing something up and it looking entirely different in-game lol)
I really like how the stem falls off to the sides and front of the pumpkin, since this typically isn't (or never has been) done.
Hm... not sure what else to say. You have beautiful leaf textures, but I've mentioned that before I do believe. The entire pack is still probably my favorite 32x on these forums. :smile.gif:
...Also, I happened to notice that I started a little fad of "page claiming" here on accident, but I never commented on it. That's kinda funny, and awesome. It's too bad I never actually owned a page of this thread for myself though, since it depends on the last post...

Hey, Giffca's back!
Yep, I've been busy since you were gone. I have all but two blocks done, and some items (and a lot of alts) to boot.
And you're right, I should probably make the leaves darker to make them stand out more. I want the pumpkin itself to stay low-contrast though, so that the ripples don't feel too deep.
As for the page claiming trend: Yes, you did start it. I blame you entirely. If you want your own page, you're just going to have to post more. XD

For the record, I never left, I just never posted because I only had time to read and such (until this point.) Posting more often, probably won't happen to be honest, but that's just my nature. I've still been keeping tabs on these forums, this thread specifically, etc etc.
As for the pumpkins, if you're shooting for realism, pumpkin ridges actually do go pretty deep sometimes, it's quite annoying when carving them out during Halloween. If you're going for a smoother pumpkin, perfect idea with modifying the leaves a bit... but the tint of the pumpkin itself is a bit of a yellow-greenish orange color, if that makes sense.
I don't know, whatever feels right to you. I'll enjoy them in-game either way. :tongue.gif:
...I saw that trapdoor alternate a while back, too. It's outstanding.

HA! I've rendered the great and powerful 42 speechless. I feel so proud of myself.
